To clarify, since your account is on an annual plan, adding a new user automatically generates a prorated charge for the additional seat for the rest of the billing cycle. This wasn’t a duplicate subscription but a fee triggered when another user was added to your organization. Hi Aaron, thanks for sharing your feedback and we’re sorry for the frustration this has caused. Upon reviewing your account, the subscription was set to an annual plan back in May. Please note that selecting the correct plan falls under the user’s responsibility and any corrections need to be requested right away. Since the billing cycle was already active by the time you reached out in August, our team was no longer able to adjust it. We understand this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for but we encourage you to reach out to us as soon as possible in the future if you run into a similar situation so we can assist before the billing cycle is locked in. Hi TJ! Thanks for sharing your feedback and I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Like most SaaS providers, we don’t offer prorated refunds on annual subscriptions. When you selected the yearly plan, it came with a discounted rate in exchange for a full-year commitment. Since the subscription is being canceled before the end of that period, we’re unable to issue a refund for the remaining time. I completely understand that this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, especially after being with us for so long. Thanks for your feedback, Matt! We’re sorry for any confusion. We'd like to explain that with our Per-Seat subscription model, you’re billed for every member in your organization, regardless of whether they track time or have tracking disabled. This includes yourself as the account owner, as well as any administrators or managers. Please note that even if you don’t personally need to track time, your account has full access to roles, permissions and organization-wide data, which is why it counts as a seat in your plan. That definitely doesn’t sound right and we want to clarify that Hubstaff does not contact candidates through Facebook or other social media platforms. As a general rule, no legitimate company will ask you to pay any fees upfront in order to receive a payment. If someone requests money from you in exchange for payment, it is likely a scam. We strongly encourage reporting any suspicious activity to our support team so we can investigate further. Your security is important to us and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
