The app performs really well. Disappointing is the continual pop up screenshot. Understandable it has to do it's job but it is frankly a distraction along with all the other popups. Maybe they could get it to take the screenshots in the background.

Not yet supporting Wayland display server. As a Linux OS user and this Wayland is more secure and performant than X.org server. It would be nice if you provide support for Wayland. Also sometimes the HS application freezes and the timer is not records the worked time. Today HS freezed for 2 hours and 43 minutes. I requested my agency to add that worked time manually. Initially given 3 stars but now reducing the rating to 2 stars because of freeze and not tracked the worked hours. --- 14-Feb-2023: Update after logged in Wayland server for 1day, Hubstaff desktop app behaves very abnormal it still not take the screenshot. I'm using 1.6.12-da9418f3. Reached to the support team and they said tech team will follow up in the email. --- 14-Feb-2023: Hubstaff really confusing me through double communication. Here they say they start supporting Wayland but tech support emailed me to switch to X11 display server because Hubstaff not yet supporting Wayland. Is a door open for companies to invade your privacy

Support is never around when you need a question answered. Only have a self-help portal and ticket submissions. Would be nice to have a live agent to chat with that can direct you or resolve issues rather than waiting 24hrs for answers that don't always match the questions.

Hubstaff just didn't do what we wanted it to do. We have ended up with Clockify instead as the Hubstaff time tracking app on Windows Desktop is very rigid. It doesn't let you easily pause / resume or change the start time. I've used a few time tracking apps before and my boss asked me to use Hubstaff. But I was so frustrated with it that we only lasted a week before moving to something else. I now have to migrate my hours over to the new app. Still, it's a matter of perspective. I wanted something a bit more flexible as I'm a developer. But maybe if you run a call center or something, then the rigidity of Hubstaff will be beneficial to you.
