Huge Disappointment
Let me down. Printer broke fast, and customer service was useless. Very frustrating experience.

Don't fall into the subscription of paying only £1.49 per month to receive replacement ink cartridges. We've be paying this for 4 years, not been able to get in touch with anyone to ask where our replacement cartridges are as they are meant to get the information through the printer when ink is low. Only today have finally been able to cancel the subscription and close the account. What a joke

Purchased a new HP 6452e printer. After four months of emails and online chats, I finally learn that my Lenovo Chromebook isn't compatible with this printer. Well, it worked fine as long as I was signed up for their FREE INSTANT INK. Nothing is free. They charge you for every single copy you print. So, I'm stuck with either paying for my own copies on my printer, or I have a worthless printer sitting here. DON'T buy from HP, they are scammers!!!!

Total sh## option for a normal user, it's too expensive for what a normal person can use to this price. Also when you terminate your subscription, all the printer cartridge stop working after three pages of printing. Which means you have paid for printed pages, you can't print. Almost theft in my opinion.

horrible. once one cartridge is wrong and you cant find the original "hp-conected-cartridge" then their system cant read your printer and you cant get a new cartridge replacement! and finding a simple email form to send to them is impossible. totally useless "service". i have one strong recommendation: dont subscribe to this useless trash.

terrible . i have been subscribing for 9 months and ran out of ink in feb 2020, they have sent no new ink and i've been out since early march. I have payed 3 payments £23.97 since then and nothing in post, tried emailing, no reply, tried whats app support no reply, notw tried calling them today, got through after 30 min wait, then was told there systems down. Now i will canceling account as the service is rubbish and they don't send out ink what i'm paying for

Avoid at all costs! Started the subscription service in 2016 at £3.49 a month. Received a First supply of ink in Oct 2016 and nothing more until Nov 2019 when I had to physically beg for some more. Decided to stop the service in December 2019 & hey presto the new ink stopped working in my printer! You are better off buying third party ink from Amazon. A lot cheaper and works perfectly if not better. They did not even have the courtesy to respond to my complaint. Well HP, I will never ever purchase any of your products again & will discourage anyone else from doing so. Bye Bye!

I thought this would be a convenient way of making sure I would not run out of ink when I bought my new HP printer. You subscribe for a monthly supply of ink - cost dependent on your estimated usage. I was charged an extra £1 for an additional 20 pages overrun, but my ink had not run out. I was sent new cartridges when my old ones were still printing as good as ever. It was turning out costly - so I decided to end my subscription. I was charged about £3.50 to leave and on the date my subscription ended, I was no longer able to print anything - my printer was locked. I had a new set of ink cartridges still wrapped that had been sent to me and they too were useless too - my printer would not accept them and just warned me I needed to subscribe to Instant Ink/HP Connect again. I hate waste, I had to throw all 4 new cartridges away because of their ridiculous terms and conditions which I no doubt agreed to when I enrolled. That small print that no one has either the time or inclination to plough through on such minor matters... however, they annoy when they catch you out! Like most of these great sounding offers - there is a trap. Why should you be forced to throw away cartridges before they are empty, it's waste. So I have returned to my old method of purchasing non HP cartridges at far less the price and just as easy with one-click next day delivery from a popular website. The print quality is just as good and it works out cheaper!
