Great lessons. Our pup really liked watching them with us! I love that we can go back and re-watch the videos any time. My only complaint is that the sound quality was inconsistent from one video to the next. Sometimes when there were two instructors, only one of them had a mic, so it was really hard to hear the other one.

I really loved the content of this course, everything is super useful and I'll use it forever!! the only gripe I have with it is the execution. One of the girls is always hard to hear and it seems as if things are out of order sometimes? not sure what is going on there but it does bother me a bit. I wish the whole course website, booklet, & videos themselves were more polished I guess. but really that's the only problem I had and it has nothing to do with the actual lessons so kudos to Michelle and her team!

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the microphone. We know that’s an issue in a few of the videos and we were able to correct it in some of the newer videos. We continue to upgrade the course each month and we will strive to improve these areas as well! We are all brave new learners, including using technology and video as an educational delivery method. My honest opinion, is that I felt the course was too overwhelming and contained too much filler content that takes too long to watch. It's a great class for someone who is retired or has plenty of time. I would recommend creating an abridged version containing the same nuts and bolts with less of the fillers. For example, I didn't need the beginning videos on why this style of training is the best. We should know that because you're the experts in this field, however, it's not bad information to know but I could have don't without it. I am still limping along and just can't find the time to get through it. I then ask a question on the FB group and I can't seem to get a direct answer but rather a 1 hour Zoom video and a 14 minute YouTube to help answer them. I just added an hour and 14 minutes to my day and I am still stuck in module 1. I feel both could have been condensed into 15 minutes. I hope to finish it one day. Thank you though I and I hope this helps and is conveyed as nice constructive criticism. My review could be biased as I didn't complete the course entirely so again I hope this helps future students with busy schedules.

It sounds like you were enrolled at the PRO level, which is exactly what I would recommend if you’d like some help applying the games to your specific situation. You are right that sometimes we refer questions to other videos, only because dog training and behavior is complex. We don’t want to solve your issue for one time, only for it to appear again some other time when you are no longer a part of the group and can’t get the help you need. We want you to understand your dog well enough so that this training course benefits you and your puppy for a lifetime. There are several ways to get answers, however, and we can definitely help you find the more efficient way if you’re finding yourself overwhelmed with the information. Perhaps talking to our trainers live on one of the Zoom calls would be a better fit for your situation. We try to offer a variety of training platforms for different learners. It’s totally fine if you didn’t finish the course. There’s no time limit! There is no expiration date and you can take as long as you want to review the material, and re review it if something comes up with your puppy. You are also welcome to re-join the PRO level on a monthly basis if you find a behavior or skill you’d like to work on more specifically. We’ll do our best to consolidate the information and help you find the fastest path to success. We only want the best for you and your puppy! Please let us know if we can help you in the future. The course itself is comprehensive, detail-orientated, and helpful. I got the pro-level, thinking it was fully refundable without reading the fine print. After a day or two, I realized that the time I needed to put in to watch the videos, read the workbook, record the dog, do the homework, join in the zoom calls and ask questions was overwhelming for me. Put on top of it having to take care of the puppy and the household (and the hubby) and myself I was so stressed. I knew I needed one on one help, in person, and asked for a refund and was going to use that money for a trainer. I was denied because I didn't read the fine print. My fault, ok but be sure to read the fine print. Turns out I don't use the FB group and the zoom meetings much because I just don't have that much time in the day. I am getting through the course and many, many (did I say many) videos slowly but it is still so very overwhelming. I personally have to watch things 2-3 times to "get it" so that's just more time I don't have. Michelle is excellent at what she does and you can see she truly cares and does a fabulous job at instruction. I wish I could go to her in person and pay for training for both my puppy and myself. In a nutshell, the course is excellent but very time-consuming.

Monica, thanks for the feedback! We are so glad you found the course to be so robust. You are right, puppy training can often be time consuming. Learning how to train a puppy is much like learning a new language, and as a trainer I have to teach you the new language first before you can work with your puppy! The good news is that once you get started, you’ll see results and you can build on those successes. It’s not always as time consuming as the first few months with a new puppy! It DOES gets easier, I promise! Unfortunately our course is only online, as we try to reach the most amount of people with the limited time we have in the day. But if you ever find that you’d like some additional support, you are welcome to enroll in the monthly membership and we would be happy to help you at the PRO level. As you know, you have access to the course materials for a lifetime. We wish you and your puppy the best of luck as you navigate your new life together!

Edited review: Unfortunately, I wish that we could have access to the Pro Level resources and Facebook page for a longer duration. I realize the information is invaluable but wish I had enrolled later when I had more time to dedicate to watching the zoom calls and asking questions. This is not the fault of the company, but rather my own fault. I do wish that now that I have time, I could access the Facebook and Zoom calls.

You do have unlimited access to the course. We are sorry that the timing of the PRO level support did not match when you had time for training, but did you know you can add on a monthly membership? You could then have access to the Zoom calls and private Facebook group. With the monthly membership you can cancel at any time or remain at the PRO level for as long as you'd like. Good, straight forward guidance, delivered in a simple, very doable format. The structure of the program is perfect for pups (<9 months), not too sure on how older dogs would respond. Title of the program is perhaps a bit misleading. You won’t have a Dream Dog in 30 days; but you will learn, in 30 days, what you need to work on to have a Dream Dog. (Shhhhh . . . spoiler alert . . . there is no magic path . . . you need to train the dog in front of you. Some take more time, some take less). The gals presenting the material absolutely set the proper tone for all new dog owners; they are top-notch! Overall, a very good program for do-it-yourselvers.
