Houfy is a very easy to use platform and provides transparent costs upfront. It provides all critical information at the outset, so you only need to contact an owner once you are ready to book.

My Houfy listing was very easy to set up. I am using it primarily for return guests, but also sending other people there as well. I am not banking on getting any guests through the platform, but it is working really well for people I direct there. If I get any through the platform, that is just a bonus. I was doing direct bookings myself, without a website, and using a rental contract. This is much simpler for me, and I appreciate anything that simplifies hosting and saves me time. I am also pleased by the benefits of Houfy Protect. It is easier than collecting and returning a deposit, and it gives some peace of mind. I've not had to use that yet (and frankly, I hope I never do), so I cannot comment on how that works if you have a claim. I like that I can also give my guests options on how they pay (credit card or venmo, etc.).
