Houfy.com is a great alternative to other vacation rental booking sites. You can save the big commission fees that other platforms have. It is basically an owner driven website for rentals. I had a great experience with houfy.com for a vacation and a wonderful stay.

Love hearing this. No commission fees, direct relationship with the owner, great stay — that's the trifecta. Thanks for taking the time to share it.

Nice for owners to have this option for renting their properties.

Appreciate this. More options for owners, fewer fees in the middle — that's the plan. Thanks for taking the time to share it.

It was easy to set up and automatic sync to Houfy from Airbnb. We need everybody to use Houfy, guests and hosts to save on ridiculous Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com fees which are up to 18%
Response from HoufyMay 28, 2026
This made our day. Hosts keeping more of what they earn instead of handing over 15–18% in fees is exactly why Houfy exists — thank you for the energy and spread the word.

This property is in a perfect location, has all of the amenities, is comfortable and welcoming.

Sounds like a great trip. Most of the credit there goes to your host — connecting guests with hosts like that is exactly what Houfy is for. Glad it all came together.
