HostwindsReviews of hostwinds.com

Don't work with Hostwinds, LLC they are totally scam. I have ordered VPS in US but after installation network doesn't ping many countries and hosts like github.com, ubuntu.com they re-installed my VPS but problem still exist. After has been asked why "Re-install" option doesn't work in my control panel and default installation crash network, they said that I need to "Regenerate Networking" to solve problem with network but it doesn't help Account refund has been refused - support said that they don't reverse Cryptocurrency payments. I spend more 3 days with technicals, but they can't find this network bug in their firewall, switch or upstream, and they still can't help, only recommend to reinstall on they own side . Don't waste your time and money. Brian Mora Staff Frederick Matthison Staff Adrian Sidney Staff Julian Michaels Staff hostwinds.com

too complicated

Terrible service, they make hidden charges, suspend service because I did not recognize the charges on paypal. Have to migrate in one night. No 24/7 support, I had to wait one weekend and they didn't respond.

The WORST customer service EVER! So my sites are COMPLETELY REMOVED from the server and they refuse to help me. It seems like the server is hacked but they take no action. Now 2 weeks later not only my sites have been COMPLETEL REMOVED (like from the one day to the other day - all files completely GONE) also the email boxes with some important emails in it are also COMPLETELY GONE!!! IMAGINE: your site and your emails completely removed and ALL THEY ANSWER IS THIS: "Thank you for being so patient. Kindly note that the deletion of files is not done from our end. We could see that the main configuration files for emails have been removed which has created issues with emails. Please note that we have not removed any files from the server. We have checked for backups but couldn't find anything to help you restore the emails and domains. Unfortunately, we are helpless. Thank you for your understanding."

Hands off! I was looking for a host that allowed adult web hosting. After a long search I found hostwinds.com. So ordered the appropriate offer. All information provided: address and credit card given. On the next website one expected the copies of the ID, the credit card and a completed and signed form as confirmation of the correctness. So far that's okay too. But that timely! What does timely mean? You always have a photocopy of your ID card and credit card close at hand. So made photocopies and uploaded the photos to the web form. The photos were unedited and a few MB in size. No confirmation that the photos have arrived. So photos downsized and uploaded again. Confirmation was displayed. I thought that was it. In the meantime, the access data for the server have been sent to me by email. But logging in was out of the question. Always error message. This could not be clarified in the chat with the support either. The ticket system is confusing. After looking at the problem for a few hours, I checked out the "Billing" page. Status: FRAUD. Fraud, what's the point? Because I hadn't uploaded the photocopies of ID and CC in a timely manner. No other hoster has such problems. It is sufficient to state the CC. But hostwinds marks a customer as a fraud. An opaque ticket system, especially when you are on the website, you still get emails. Customer friendliness is very important to other hosters. I have had my account deleted.

No me gusta q no dan opción de recuperar contraseñas de las vps

On 9/14/ I ordered a server Order Number: 1758991023. After installation it turned out the IP was blacklisted with Hotmail. I asked for new IP and they did not want to give me one. I canceled the server and got a refund and wanted to move on. Support kept updating me on the progress of whitelisting the IP. 2 days ago I got an email that the IP has been whitelisted by hotmail. I was impressed. I ordered a server again (order number 4323747496) and asked Hostwinds to assign the IP. They refused. Ok. I figured it should be fine and after installing everything it turns out that the new IP is publicly listed in a Spam database. I asked again if I could please have that fresh IP. So far I only got "not possible" as an answer.

I wanted to give Hostwinds a shot as my vps provider. I started the service and got disconnected 3 times during the first hour after setting it up. I immediately cancelled the service and asked for a refund. I DID NOT get the full refund and therefore I decided to let everyone know how they work. STAY AWAY FORM HOSTWINDS!
