Terminal Jammed Missing Nearly $37,000
When you put your faith, your business and your money in to a company such as Host Merchants Services. You would expect Top quality service. On April 1, one of my associates accidentally ran a Discover, which we do not take what Host Merchant called it was a forced transaction. As our bank account started dwindling rapidly and having to borrow money to keep the business open. I called Host Merchant several times and talk to two associates and each time they told me there’s nothing wrong with my account and we are getting our deposits. On June 19, when the May statement showed up and I too look at it I was appalled by the amount of money that was deposited. Seriously we run more than that amount just on a Friday & Saturday combined. When I called Host Merchant I was able to talk to a manager within three minutes. He explained that our server has created two lanes and roughly 93% or more of the credit cards were jammed and not batching. Seriously we were shy of less than five dollars or $37,000 jammed in the credit card server. Then we had to start dealing with chargebacks. I had no idea what to charge back was but a credit card company is allowed to reverse the charges because it’s too long to batch out. Host Merchant’s was of no assistance to help us try to get our money back or to reach out to the credit card companies and explain to the credit card companies of what happened. Thank God this stopped it right below $800. But now, since we are monitoring things a little closer, we have credit cards be run that are reversing themselves with no explanation. One occasion, they said the credit card company must’ve done that. Now we have another one that never showed up i’m still waiting for an answer from Host Merchant. They were going to reach out to Verosa. This entire ordeal caused multiple issues with my checks to as well as my stylist and their clients. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WITH OUR MONEY
