Terrible website.do not trust the owner David Oz
We booked a room through Hostelz.com, and the reviews were good. When we got there, the room and service were horrible. I came home and wrote a review on their site about the hostel. I few days later, it went missing. I wrote it again, and again, they deleted it. I wrote in to ask them if it was against their terms of use (I was careful to write factually, not emotionally or with opinions). They said they would get back with me, but they never did. The owner of this website David Oz is criminal. Do not trust them

This comment was actually submitted by Nathan Cohen (that's the English translation of the Hebrew נתן כהן), and he's not really a hostel guest. He's the manager of the Levitt Smart Hostel in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ironically, the real reason he's upset with us is because we *refused* to remove a review of his hostel. Unlike other hostel websites, we don't remove reviews by request of hostel owners because we believe that would violate the trust that our users have in Hostelz.com for providing genuine hostel reviews and ratings. We do allow hostel owners to respond to their reviews (just as Trustpilot does), but sometimes hostel owners still end upset that they can't just have reviews removed by request as with some websites.
