My experience with Horizon has been transformative. Horizon was an amazing experience that helped me dive deep into machine learning and deep learning. My research focused on predicting breast cancer survival using tabular clinical and genetic data. Thanks to my mentor, I learned how to work with real-world datasets, build and compare different models, and evaluate them using survival metrics. Horizon also helped me improve my research writing and understand how to structure a formal academic paper. I’m currently finalizing my work and look forward to publishing it soon.
