This is not a review of our app or its functionality. HookUP.com clearly advises members to report anyone who solicits them for money. Never send money to someone you met online but have not met in person. We are a dating app. We use AI-powered systems to identify and block members who engage in this behavior, but technology cannot replace personal judgment. Always use caution, common sense, and our reporting tools to help protect yourself and the community.

Issue Solved: We’ve added Verified Pictures and a new feature: “Only Allow Verified Members to Contact Me.” With over 500,000 members and free Premium access for women looking for men, these improvements have significantly reduced the issue. Please continue reporting any members soliciting or violating our guidelines so we can keep the community safe.
