Excellent piano curriculum for children

My 6-, 9-, and 11-year-olds have learned so much in our year with Hoffman Academy! They learn piano, solfege, and music reading all in one program, and with three kids in lessons, this is the only way we could have afforded to do this! They love Mr. Hoffman, who brings so much joy to their lessons.

We love Hoffman, I have recommended it to so many friends! Two of my kids have used it. I love the independence it inspires, not to mention the good practice habits it instills.

Very useful and fun way to learn, adjustable to each student

My daughter has enjoyed Mr. Hoffman’s lessons and learned so much music theory (painlessly!!) in addition to learning to play. We also love that we can set our own pace.

I’m almost 72 years old and have decided to learn to play the piano. It is immensely helpful having the video lessons to review and the guided practice sessions for learning the songs. There are so many music fundamentals included in this course!

Humorous (especially the closing puppet shoes) . . . this aspect has really kept my children's attention. The fact that they are practicing songs right away and can perform them in front of their peers has been a big plus for this program. Definitely worth the money, and the time saved being able to do the classes on our schedule either at home or at my job has been priceless.

My 8 year old just started Unit 2. I am so thrilled with the musicality, confidence, creativity, and carefully crafted step-by-step technique that she is soaking up. She has learned to play her songs confidently in multiple keys and in multiple ways, picks out simple melodies by ear, and is enjoying improvising and composing her own songs. She is always excited to practice, and Mr. Hoffman's puppet shows at the end of every lesson are amazing and so motivating :)
