I've been using HIPPO ED for PANCE preparation during my EORs since June 3rd 2026. I often find that the questions they state are lacking information and they align them with answers that are found to be a far reach when multiple answers are true for the scenario. There is often answers in a question that are not better than the other, or even after being answered they are unable to justify the reasoning with their explanation. Largely dislike Hippo and find that their questions are often not reviewed. I have provided peer reviewed articles in response to quite a few of their questions, but they have not responded.

If I could give less than one star I would. It’s abysmal.

There is a lot of nonsense banter in the videos. Many of the test questions are not even addressed in the videos. Many of the test questions are inaccurate or don’t make any sense. For example, one of the ortho questions asked for next step treatment for a SH4 distal radius fracture and the answer was ORIF. I have been working in ortho trauma for 10 years and this is only indicated if the fracture is displaced and is not always indicated. And enough with the genderqueer and nonconforming patients. Please only push your bias if it’s applicable to the vignette.

Hippo pance prep has multiple blatantly incorrect questions and inconsistencies. They clearly do not reread their questions as I’ve also come across many typos and their explanations for questions often do no make any sense or site articles from the 1990s that are irrelevant. I highly recommend not wasting your money on their products.

After many hours spent on this program i’m not so much of a better doctor than I was before. I’m saving the ecg and the fast videos Sorry but I would not recommend it

It’s a great review for the seasoned urgent care provider. I have learned something from each video. I highly recommend this.

I love the urgent care boot camp It concise and to the point!

I used Hippo EM for the 2018 concert exam and couldn't be happier. The videos were great and the qbank questions were really close to the ABEM questions on the test. I passed with flying colors. Thanks Hippo!
