I just downloaded the app because I thought it'll be the best option, instead, I had trouble with this. I'm bilingual, so I have no problem with the language Issue, but some parts of the app are in English, I'm from México, my native language is Spanish but found that there are some features in English, maybe someone with no knowledge will not use it because of this. I started to complete the compatibility questionnaire, but the questions were good at first, then it becomes with no sense, I didn't know the real purpose of this, but I thought it will help me to find matches easily, becomes boring and I quit the questionnaire. Also, I had problems with the location: I'm from Cancun and the matches were from Mexico City, I tried to contact the live help chat, but nothing happened, I couldn't reach them, so I had to contact them by mail, the answer was a little obvious: GPS settings (which wasn't the solution). This App has a good idea about dating apps, however, needs to work on these issues to work better and get more people signed up.

So, I clicked on the Verify email button within the email and it took me to the hily.com page instead of the sign in page. When I clicked on the link, it should have taken me to the password creation page instead it has taken me to the sign-in page with the following URL [Hily-support-team.zendesk.com] which I find irrelevant and unnecessary. It would be effective if the app dynamically opens up and prompts the user to enter the credential to sign-in to use the app. Currently it stays on a dead end and it does not add any value to the user experience what so ever. Registered Email Recognition: Entered my email through the sign-up option. It recognized my email as registered address, but it did not take me to the sign-in page. It just stuck in the sign-up page stating that the email is recognized. The app expects the user to navigate to the sing-in page then sing-in which is not intuitive. Time to install and uninstall the app: 28.65mb app took almost 2 minutes [began to install at 13:54 and completed at 13:56] However, android device installation and uninstallation was quick and simple. Ts & Cs: Ts & Cs are too long and difficult to follow for users. It can be written simply for ease of the users to digest the information. Terms of Service - Hily “Certain features of the service are covered by” then the rest of the text is not visible to the user. Profile Picture: Profile completion page is simple and straightforward. However, it is not explaining why it needs 3/6 images. It would be great to see some kind of explanation so that user can make informed decision. It may have some accessibility issues, but this is not in scope. However, I must say color contrast is admirable but some of the icons can be improved with appropriate use of alt text. Welcome offer: £2.99 is the welcome offer but this could be more meaningful instead of 3 unblurs, 3 chat requests, 3 compatibility checks, 3 Roll backs. It would be useful to add the benefits they provide to the users. If you are doing this welcome offer so the user might not be familiar with these terms because he/she has just sign-up to use the app. It is purely my opinion. Screen magnification is switched off. Color ratios between text and background not great. Screen orientation is switched off which is not good thing at all. It may go against by forcing the user to do something: User is forced to load a profile picture, but the screen was not explaining the notion behind it so this is not intuitive at all. If user wants to quit the application, there is not any options to do so. It could be really annoying to the user and may uninstall it for good thinking the app is rubbish does not work properly. Geolocation: Geolocation seems working but it may have some filtering issues. In the production environment it is hard to test but it would be a good test to do it on a test environment. Memory Usage: 265 MB used on average in last 3 hours. Entering and Exiting the App is fine no issues at all. Batter Usage: 17% Battery used Camera Function: User is not able to use the camera to take a selfie and upload a profile picture as the option does not appear when user chooses the image gallery / camera option to add the profile picture. This is a serious issue of the app. Push Notification: App seems running fine and resumed working with a push notification from a third party app.

Genuinely the most falsely advertised app I’ve ever used, please please please avoid, I cannot stress enough

I downloaded the app 4 months ago and they have charged me £14.99 after i unsubscribed for the premium and I've asked for a refund and they are refusing it

Si il y a avait un concours du plus mauvais site, il aurait une chance d'être dans le top 3 parmi les gagnants. Avec un jeu de dupe, de bluff et de l'intox vous obtenez hily. Si vous payez pas d'abonnement tous les messages envoyé vont directement à la poubelle et ne sont pas distribué aux destinataires. Cette pratique est pas mentionnée explicitement dans leur faq, C'est la pratique la plus grave que j'ai trouvé sur les sites de rencontres. Il m'a fallu 25 messages avec leur SAV pour qu'ils avouent et m'expliquent leur méthode. Hily carton rouge ! Je ne parle même pas des faux profils, ce sont presque tous des vendu.

I never completed my registration and they billed men15.81 for one week even though I never was able to get to their website fully, never used the app online with them nothing i did not even give them billing information they slipped in through google pay using I think just my cell number and the irony is I can't even cancel the same subscription because you have to have a completed profile to get to anyone and that's an assumption there too because I don't know what their site even looks like crooks straight crooks I am calling my bank today and declining the charges .period my advice run like Hell away from them

It's a scam. Terrible customer service!

Terrible app, horrible UI/UX. The business model is scam-like, where they will keep changing you if you uninstall and don't deep dive into the settings to find the hidden unsubscribe key. Very unprofessional. And an equally unprofessional customer servcie who do minimal to actually help your problem, and long-winded emails with a helpful tone but essential say we can't do anything, but let us know if we can help you. *eye-roll* 1 star will be what it will ever be!
