Thematic is a community-driven platform where creators license music from independent artists in exchange for promotion. Video creators get copyright-free, claim-free music for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, podcasts, and more, with songs instantly matched to a creator's aesthetic, video themes, the artists they love, and the creators they follow. Every video published with a Thematic track also gets featured across the platform, so creators get exposure of their own just for using the music. Music artists get their songs promoted to over a million creators, with a dashboard showing exactly which videos are using their music and how each placement is performing. The Thematic community votes on which songs join the catalog, so the artists who get featured are the ones creators actually want to hear. Creators can also unlock Creator Perks: exclusive discounts and tools from other companies, just for being active on the platform. Thematic was co-founded by Michelle Phan, one of YouTube's earliest creators. Today, more than a million creators across over 220 countries use Thematic to find music and get discovered, and more than 3.6 million licenses have been issued through the platform so far. BEST PLATFORM FOR MUSIC!
I have been using this for a good straight 4 years and this platform really helped me boost my career. I will continue using this because of its smooth interface, easy downloading and most of all, i love the artists and the songs! every song's a BOP!

Thematic is so helpful as I'm an aspiring Youtuber. The music choices are so vast and they're up to today's standard, especially when it comes to what music vibe is trending. Most importantly, it's free and as I'm only starting, it's an easy access for me.

If you're a content creator on YouTube and haven't heard about Thematic, you're missing out on a real cool platform. I heard about it through other creators on YouTube and gave it a go. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to spice up their videos with some incredible music that goes beyond the YouTube creator studio. And (for the level I'm on anyway) it's free, though if you have more than 1 channel or want more downloads then you do have to pay. The user interface is a pretty easy to get to grips with and find new artists. I've found a few that I genuinely enjoy listening to. I even follow them on Spotify :) Usually though you can just filter by mood as you wo'nt know the names of most of the artists there. I usually want music for a vlog or chill lo-fi beats which do pretty well for photography channels. Plus, there's something for every mood and genre, ensuring your content always feels fresh and engaging. One of the things I like is the quality of music available. Its like 1000 times better than creator studio. and no worrying about copyright strikes - you have to credit the artists and put a license (copy and paste it) from thematic. Honestly, I can't recommend Thematic enough. It's been a lifesaver for my channel, and I've discovered so many amazing artists along the way. You have nothing to lose, definitely try the free program first and see if you like it!
