If I could give no stars I would. I created an account only to see what they offered. I noticed a text come from them that said if I need to move forward with prescriptions they would need more info. We'll since I wasn't planning on using them I did not answer. Next thing you know they are sending prescriptions to my pharmacy and telling me I owe them money. After contacting them to let them know I didn't request any of this all I got was emails with rude remarks saying if I don't pay them them account balance will grow. This is a scam that someone really needs to look into. Stay away from this place!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience. I use their services to get a prescription. That is a very basic simple prescription that I know for a fact is covered through my insurance they sent the prescription to my pharmacy. My pharmacy said that insurance rejected it and that the doctor would need to obtain insurance approval. After over a week of hearing nothing I consulted my insurance company because there’s no way for you to call or contact the doctor in anyway through this company. My insurance told me that the doctor prescribed the medication incorrectly and so they weren’t able to approve it through insurance but that they were going to contact the pharmacy and see what they could do. They were not able to do anything and they recommended that I consult the doctor, so I tried contacting this Got an extremely rude and unhelpful response from Ashley Mineo (VP Medical Assistant). They refused to cancel the prescription or accept any responsibility whatsoever.

Scam
Scam. Medical fraud. Unauthorized charge. Repeatedly told them not to charge my card. They no longer take phone calls. They dont answer emails. I even sent legal emails telling them no. They dont provide any service. They send you fake labs. They pretend to submit prescriptions. They hit your insurance for thousands of dollars.
Medical fraud. The next review is going to be for the BBB, the medical insurance fraud dept, and an attorney.

Filing with State DA. Deceptive advertising and practice. DO NOT USE
UPDATE: 10/3: Well HelixVM must have figured something out because I just got off the phone with Cigna and they're processing the claim. These guys are making millions in medical fraud while patients like us are screaming at the insurance companies, only to get blown off. I'll be changing policies immediately to avoid any further fraud in my name.
UPDATE 10/2: They just sent Cigna a $1000 claim for sending my form and a few texts to a call center. They also lied and claimed I am an established patient. SCAM.

If a doctor actually created a "treatment plan" for me after I tested positive with Covid, then their doctor had no problem prescribing what the FDA determined to be a last resort medication that should only be prescribed when a better alternative is not available. Molnupiravir has an efficacy rate of 30% over the industry standard and first line of defense, Paxlovid which is approved by the FDA and has demonstrated a 90% efficacy rate. Trying to get someone to interact with me to correct the prescription was a futile effort.
My efforts to appeal to them regarding a number of documented medical issues which put me at high risk of hospitalization was never addressed other than to say that this is the proper course of treatment. No doctor was ever available. Are they reading out of a notebook at a processing center? There is no number to call with questions. A link within your "treatment plan" giving you an opportunity to ask a question is as close as you'll get to supposed medical personnel. Texts and an email address that is answered according to your place on their cue is not medicine. You're advised it could take up to 48 hours for a response. I was desperate. My window of time for the drug to be effective upon testing positive was closing, the drugstores were within 2 hours of closing and I was stuck in a cue.
Their Google advertisement deceptively aligns them with Cigna, as if they are a trusted partner. In the end, it's all a scam, a ploy to collect a roughly $100 out of pocket payment because none of it is covered.
When I finally realized I wasn't working through Cigna, I managed to get a telehealth appt. within an hour. I actually spoke to a doctor who immediately sent in a script for Paxlovid. Based on how my symptoms were progressing, I have no doubt the Cigna doctor helped keep my out of the hospital.
Stay away from HelixVM. I wish I had researched them prior to reaching out, but when you are sick and you're fighting through a mind fog, it can be difficult to read through the medical deception online. . . and I'm sure that's what they're banking on, literally. I'm hoping to file a class action lawsuit against this outfit. Hoping others will file complaints with their respective State DAs.

Soooo update to an August visit….
Soooo. I highly recommend avoiding this Virtual medical practice at all costs. Tried to get a thousand out of me for a visit. Insurance said $35.50 for the service provided by a chat bot. Paid, only to see they tack on a merchant fee of $3.75. Yeesh. This place needs to be run out of business.

Nothing negative on any std/ sti or uti. Super frustrating and aggravating. I have really good private insurance and there still trying to bill me for the wrong diagnoises.
