The program did give me structure for coaching and a few tools. That’s about it. I felt as though there were a lot of promises about learning to create a business. The expectation was set that I would complete the program with the ability to have a whole business up and running. The business portion is outdated. They also make you do a complete version of their health coaching before diving into the life stuff. By the time I could access pillar 3 (life coach certification), I was so burnt out on the slow pace and feeling like I could never make progress in building a business. It was really difficult to digest the life coaching material. Had I known the program would not live up to the expectation it set, I absolutely would have gone with a different certification program.

I was made to believe i was registering for a life coaching cettification. Unfortunately, the program was primarily focused on health coaching. I am a mental health counselor and wanted this certification to expand my practice. I am disappointed I'm the program. I did not learn anything new.

I found the scheduled release of lessons very frustrating, it’s not like there was any specific support to go with the schedule so why couldn’t I work through the modules as quickly as fit my schedule? I expected more of a community feel to the “class” since there are specific cohorts, but only a very low percentage of the other students were active in the Facebook group. I wish they had encouraged business building activities immediately. It takes a lot longer than I expected to even get people to know what you’re doing when you start a new business, and I feel like that should have been more clearly explained.

Pushy sales tactics Little to no live support

I have invested lots of money with HCI and when I was told about Pathway and how it will prepare me for the National Boards well that’s far from the truth … and it’s disheartening that nothing was done about it. I had to pay for outside training and studying for the Boards. I do not recommend Pathway.

This is a self taught class and they should have live class settings. Also the videos seem to not work. Also i wish they had more help with life coaching. Most of the material is based around health coaching and scripts to help you with health coaching,not life coaching.

As a luke~warm prospect, I signed up to receive “more information” on their program, specifically ‘how much?’ and then made the BIG mistake of giving over my phone number. WRONG MOVE! These folks called me at every hour of the day for days from at least 3 different numbers until I blocked them all. They don’t seem to take *no* for an answer and treat any casual inquiry as an opportunity to ‘send out the sales piranhas’. Also, out of nowhere I’m now getting spam calls (which I NEVER get because I’m on Federal Do Not Call lists) about ‘online games’ (????) so they may have sold my info over, too. If you want to know anything more about this program without any commitment strings attached, I would advise that you give them a fake #.

In my opinion, Stacey Morganstern is as phony as a three dollar bill. The initial sales pitch, 'I made $100K in my first year as a health coach!' I didn't believe that line for a second, and still don't. The 'Become a Health Coach' 6-month course cost me nearly $5K. Fine, I can swallow that. But these people have been in business for YEARS, and so far, NONE of it is accessible to hearing-impaired via closed captioning (which I discovered when I came across this complaint made by a prospective BHC student). This also is UNACCEPTABLE. In this day and age, the technology is there, and in the scheme of things, is relatively inexpensive, especially since HCI is making money hand-over-fist. They recently .hyped up this 'Evolve Summit,' which was little more than a day-long infomercial with some 'coaching moments' with a few of the participants thrown in. 'For another $8K, you can take your business to the next level.' Over the next 10 days, there were two ADDITIONAL 'offerings' for students to spend MORE money. Yes, HCI is a business, but with the economy being what it is, the continual demands for more of my hard-earned money is just plain GAUCHE
