I use Headspace every day and cannot foresee canceling my subscription ever again. However, for financial reasons, I did opt to cancel it once in the past. This required emailing the Headspace staff. Once I did so, my subscription was canceled smoothly. Still, I think one ought to be able to cancel one's subscription by simply clicking a menu option on the website or in one of the apps. This preference is the only reason I am giving Headspace four stars instead of five.

This is totally new to me. I am trying to get in to it; not sure I will be successful but I have been at it for 60 days and am going to continue.

Hi Jane, Learning to meditate is like learning any other skill, like driving a car - you don't expect to hit the motorway after your first few lessons! Be patient with yourself, and take it slowly and without expecting too much, too quickly. Also try to avoid judging your meditation. Never look for perfection in your meditation practice, simply keep going from one technique to the next as part of the journey and over time you will see the change. Most of all though, be kind to yourself and remember that we are talking about the body and mind letting go of habits of a lifetime. Great app. The only thing I would say is it takes up a lot of storage on my phone so being able to delete modules you've completed would be great. Or maybe you can already do that but I havnt realised how!

Hey Jennifer, We’re so sorry - we know our app had been taking up quite a bit of storage. The good news is that it was resolved with the latest update to the Headspace app. A quick re-install will free up some space. Please follow these steps: 1. From your home screen, uninstall the app by holding down on the app icon until it starts wobbling. Then, tap on the 'x' in the upper left-hand corner of the icon to delete. 2. Turn your iPhone off and then back on - (This step is very important) 3. Download the app again by visiting the App Store and searching for 'Headspace'. Press the cloud icon or 'Install' to re-download. 4. Sign back in to your app. Reinstalling the app does not affect your progress, and you will be able to pick up from where you left off. If this is still not freeing up enough space, you may want to take some packs that you aren't currently working on out of the "My Packs" section. Here are the steps to do that: 1. Navigate to the My Packs section in the Home tab. 2. Tap the pack you want to remove. 3. Tap the i in the top left corner 4. Tap "Remove from my packs". We hope this helps! Best Wishes, Headspace

A useful app and a great voice but it isn’t the easiest to negotiate. Many of my older clients are really struggling with it as they can’t understand the basics, or find an answer to “ I need to get back to sleep” I know it’s all there but actually it isn’t that easy. It would be great to have your own folder where you can accumulate your favourite meditations. I know Oprah and deepak are hardly the same genre but there is something to be learnt from them. Especially when you want a guided meditation to take your mind off something. It’s also annoying having to download the meditation each time. It would be nice to be able to save them.

In regards to your first point, The Basics are there to provide a foundation for Andy’s teaching style so you can better progress throughout your meditation journey as you explore the other content. Our Packs cover a variety of topics and we also have an entire Single Sessions Library, which includes a guided meditation on Falling Back to Sleep. Nonetheless, we are always looking for more ways to improve upon and add to our content. Those are some fantastic suggestions that hopefully we can take into account in the future.
