I signed up for Headspace believing it was about $120 a year but I seem to be getting automatic renewals (which I didn’t authorise) every 6 months at that cost. I emailed their help email address to question this (twice) and have received nil response. So, sharp pricing and billing practices and zero customer service for a product that is cheap and easy to supply means heap big profits I guess. It auto-renewed again while I was waiting for a reply....

It’s a great app but near impossible to cancel a subscription. Managed in the end by doing it through PayPal but no way to do it if you pay by credit card and no reply to emails either. It’s such a shame when the idea and delivery is so good.

I used it for years and it seemed ok, but then they suddenly wiped all my data and made me pay for an additional subscription, starting again with the basic meditation mindfulness course.

I have subscribed for going on three years, now, but will probably not renew it: The meditation exercises are stale and the approach is rote. What REALLY frustrates me, though, are the Sleepscapes -- a brilliant concept that worked really well for a while, but now cuts out, mid-stream, thus NEGATING the whole purpose: which is to gently lull you to sleep. When I have to sit up and re-start a story that has just stopped, it stresses me out and, frankly, makes me angry. I have contacted Headspace tech support and all they say is to re-install the Headspace app. I've tried this several times, with no improvement. I'm fed up. I think Headspace's 15 minutes of fame are now over. They are for me, at least.

They say that they provide free access to all K-12 teachers. A generous offer to be sure, but what they really mean is that they will only grant this to K-12 teachers who work for institutions. I have two California teaching credentials and am actively teaching special needs students in numerous districts. The Sheer ID forms exclude me based on the type of employment I have (still teaching), but not on my qualifications as a K-12 educator. Customer service was dismissive and pointed me to other discounts. Really disappointing.

I love this application, but the way how they treat people is unacceptable. I am really disappointed. I wanted so hard to work out with them, but they let me no other choice. I pressed many bottons to complete my subscription but in the end, every time switch from monthly to yearly payment (Six times actually). After my complain they refund my money, but after that in my account was everything more expensive.

They have taken £75.00 from my account without asking. I have tried to contact them to ask for it back but my mails are being returned. I am furious. I would like to say that I love this site, its incredibley supportive... I just do not like the fact they took my cash in a very underhand way. I have been fully refunded by this company and I should have updated this review sometime ago, I appologise to Headspace who have been great. I still feel the auto repayments are underhand however.

I like this app very much! HOWEVER, their customer service is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. Getting someone to solve billing problems (caused by them) is impossible. Plus the ad they recently ran for 25% off was a total scam. My credit card was charged the full amount. When my current subscription is over, I will cancel for good. I'm really turned off by this company.
