The app isn’t that bad but the support is a total disaster. Also they renew the subscription without notice and with a higher price and when I want to cancel the automatic renewal that button doesn’t work.
Not possible to get a quick anwer why it doesn’t work.
Do not subscribe it’s a scam

Same guides over and over again
Their guided meditation was nice in the beginning but then after a couple of chapters they just keep repeating themselves and the guy's voice is annoying too.

Product fine, evil company
The product is fine. I am so angry that they have just taken €71 from my account as they set the subscription to auto renew. I have cancelled and demanded my money back. This is counter to what they say they want to achieve and makes for poor mental health when your choice is removed and you feel the anxiety and fear of losing money and also violated that your free will was taken from you. They sent no warning email that would alert me and can only see this as a manipulative and cruel corporate decision to take advantage of people.

Stop pretending to be update gods, fix real bugs!
For the starters, I find the app awesome. I’ve been using it for 5 years already and couldn’t be any happier almost every day when I go out to meditate. But. Please. The user interface - it was good 5 years ago, it’s ok now and it can’t be any better in the future. You don’t have to change it just because it’s a trendy thing to change interfaces once in a while. Because it’s hard to find stuff every time you decide to move things around. Just stop pretending to be Update Gods, there’s a point in time where you can’t do it any better than it is, and you’ve crossed this point a long ago. It’s great that you are constantly working on new stuff, new packs, new categories, that’s what I’m always looking forward to very much! But don’t touch the buttons! Instead better focus on fixing real bugs, for instance, the one I’ve reported a while ago – when during the meditation on my Android phone it stops playing when there’s a long silent pause. Because of that, I’m used to listening to the quiet hissing during that pause, and when the hissing stops, it’s an indication for me that I have to unblock the phone to resume the playback. Otherwise, I need to take my old good iPhone 5s with me, where the problem doesn’t occur, and I can listen to the meditation without any interruption like this. But sometimes I just forget the iPhone. When I reported this bug to your support team, they just bounced it back to me asking to reinstall/relogin/etc. Just fix the real bugs and not that already works, please. Thanks so much for the good app anyways.

I have found their meditation teaching excellent, but their customer ‘service’ deplorable
I have found their meditation teaching to be very helpful and good, and wanted to continue; my rating for content would be 4 or even 5. But, if you hit a problem, then you’re on your own. Despite saying on their website that they will email 55 days before subscriptions expire (as would be normal practice with any subscription service), they did not (and I’ve only found this promise today). Subscription renewal date appears nowhere on the app that I can find, but have just found it on the website. I emailed to ask why all my content had been locked and wondered if it might be subscription time and could they tell me. (I had to cancel automatic renewal, as I don’t have enough money in my account often to allow a deduction of an unknown sum at an unknown date. They are very coy about prices.) There is an advert for Headspace Plus on my app, which I assumed was some sort of add in, but may be a renewal request; if so, why not say so clearly!? They cited 4-6 days as response time; after 6 working days, I emailed again; nothing. They just won’t answer my justified queries and tell me clearly what I need to know. They have now had 8 working days and still can’t be bothered to reply. What a contradiction: they teach you about stress reduction, yet their customer unservice is guaranteed to increase stress. I wonder if it is a marketing technique? It’s a great shame, as their refusal to explain their ways of working ruins an excellent app.

Rebate received!
I subscribed last January (2019) for the year and paid 50 something euro. I had absolutely no idea I was committing myself to an annual subscription until I received an email on 26 January 2020 thanking me for the €71.88 which they were deducting from my bank account. This actually happened on a week when I had very little money in my account. I contacted my bank straight away to try to stop the payment and was told I needed to ask Headspace for my money back which I immediately did.
Just by way of an update I received a rebate of €71.88, lodged to my bank account 12 days later (yesterday)

My first financial stress experience
After waking up on January 2nd after experiencing explosive diarrhea on the 1st, I knew that 2020 was going to be a blast. Right up until I open my phone and see an email for Headspace thanking me for my annual subscription. I jumped out of bed and was relieved to find out that in their terms and conditions, it is possible to receive a refund within the 30-day since the renewal (for yearly and forever subs).
"Great!" I told myself, I just have to email them. Their automated response suggested that they would respond within 2-3 business days while their website said they worked 7 days a week. After 3 business days, still no response. Here is what I did next to receive my refund:
1. DM them on all social media
It seems like although they claim to respond to emails in order, if you @ them on Instagram or Twitter, they answer your request sooner it seems.
Make sure to DM @headspacehelp on twitter and if that doesn't work, you can try tweeting @ them.
Anyways, this was a horrible experience since they claim to send emails warning about auto-renewals but nowhere in my emails did I receive a warning. (NOTE: their terms and conditions do not indicate that they are obliged to)
To whoever is in going through this, may you relieve your stress elsewhere and good luck.
