I was under the impression that I was purchasing the "monthly fee" for this App, and instead, they charged me $69.99 and will not refund my money. They kept telling me that I need to talk to iTunes Support. So, I did that, and iTunes Support told me that I have to talk to Headspace. This is a complete scam and I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Now I have to dispute and report them, and wait to see my money again in the next few weeks. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! DO NOT BUY INTO THEIR BS!

Non existent customer services. Impossible to contact, I have sent them two emails neither of which have been acknowledged or replied to.

Would have been a better rating, but some time after subscribing to Premium the recordings have begun to stop up and continue tons of times during every meditation. Impossible to listen to as it constantly stops up. Simultanous use of another meditation app (Calm) shows not even one pausing problem during the recordings, at the same time. So what is wrong with Headspace? Have contacted support waiting for this to be fixed (only begun to occur after some weeks after subscribing), it's unacceptable to pay so much for something that has frankly not worked for several days. Ridiculous!

The app is good enough - nothing amazing and you'll exhaust the content very quickly. However, the company engages very shady billing practices and it doesn't respond to communications regarding canceling your account. Very non-zen! If you do want to use Headspace, do not deal with the company directly, rather use the App Store.

Truly awful underhand practice, i trialled the app at 40% discount, they automatically took 2 years renewal from my credit card £71.88. In terms of what the app does its very basic and low level support, didn't really get on with it. I feel it is just shocking the way they take 2 years renewal without any notification or permission. Do not use this app I have disputed the renewal but so far heard nothing yet from the team. I have contacted me credit card and reported this as fraud. Considering they purport to be supporting well being and mental health i feel this is a despicable way to operate.

Considering headspace is an app which is supposed to promote mental health and well being, “headspace” has the opposite effect. I am writing this review in a stressed state because headspace have taken funds from my account without any form of reminder about my annual auto renewal. And no I did not receive an email 30 days prior to this! Or any email in fact to remind me that it is due for renewal. I have barely used the app and I did not realise that headspace would be renewed. If I had received an email I would have cancelled immediately. Headspace is supposedly designed to promote healthier living and provide online low level support for anxiety and low mood should recognise that money is a major stress trigger to mental ill health. And this has been a stress trigger because taking money without knowledge DOES have an impact and knock on effect with finances! Headspace offers no customer service which offers telephone support. There seems to be a pattern of negative reviews from individuals who have experienced this. And clearly nothing has been done to change poor customer experience.

I cancelled my subscription and auto renewal in January this year and received a confirmation regarding this. Six months later I read in a newsletter from headspace that my subscription is on auto renewal. How!? They have also removed the "disable automatic removal" button from their website, instead you most click on billing details and from there got to a cancellation page, that isn't mentioned anywhere in their help center. I have now tried to cancel my subscription there multiple times but every time it says that they have internal problems and I should try again later. How in the world can a company that claims to want to support health and happiness behave in such an unethical way! I would never recommend anyone to subscribe to headspace because of the awful service. I really can't understand how such a big company can behave in such an awful way.

I thought I was going to try the App for free to see if I could benefit from it, however as it turns out a payment was going to be taken from my credit card in 14 day's time. This could have put me under some financial strain. Thankfully I realised that error and managed to cancel before this occurs. Metal note, Do Not Try so called FREE TRIALS. NAUGHTY HEADSPACE.
