Sadly, I ordered a pair of shoes that looked cute online from Harper & Wells of Boston. I assumed they were in Boston and they may have a vacant building someplace or a storefront, I don't know. My shoes arrived in a timely manner from the Netherlands, I think. Anyway, the shoes that looked so good in the photo did not bend. It was like walking on 2X4's. When I reached out to send them back & get a refund is when I found out I would have to send them back to the Netherlands at an escalated cost. So they offered me 15% of the cost which is a joke. Bottom line, I should have read the reviews, so don't be like me. This company is a scam and their products are garbage!!

Do Not Buy From This Seller! Terrible experience! The clothes I received were extremely poor quality and looked nothing like the pictures advertised on the website. I requested cancellation less than 12 hours after ordering, before receiving shipping confirmation, but the seller refused. I also had difficulty getting a refund. I strongly recommend avoiding this store. Save your money and shop elsewhere!

The products (mens pants) were cheap nylon and not at all what I expected. Instead of refunding the purchase price, they said I woul have to pay to send the pants back to China--a cost that equalled the cost of the pants. The company's return policy is a fraud since they state "easy returns" but do not mention having to send to China at the customer's cost. When I complained, they said it would refund 20% of the purchase price, then 30% then 40% and then 50%. It is an online fraud site that misrepresents its products and its return policy.

The shoes were defective, felt like cheap plastic, and were nowhere near the quality I expected\. I contacted the company **THE SAME DAY** the shoes arrived, requesting a full refund\. They demanded photos and video evidence, which I immediately provided\. What followed was an absolutely ridiculous back\-and\-forth of emails\. Instead of resolving the issue, they repeatedly offered partial refunds, eventually increasing their offer to 40%\. And here’s the kicker\! They finally told me I could receive a full refund ONLY if I paid **$30–$50 to ship the defective shoes to an INTERNATIONAL warehouse\!** That’s right\. They want me to spend almost as much as the shoes cost just to return their defective merchandise\! This has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I’ve ever had\. Their customer service has been unacceptable, and their return process feels designed to discourage customers from getting their money back\.

I should have looked at the reviews before I ordered from this company. I did look at them immediately after ordering, and they told me it was impossible to cancel, even though I had only ordered less than an hour before I asked to cancel. The item that I received was made from cheap material and I wanted to return it. First they offered me a 10% money back along with keeping the garment. They say they have a 30 day money back guarantee. They did not offer that at first. When I when I declined, then they offered 20% money back. When I declined again, they offered 30% money back. When I declined yet again they offered 35% money back. I finally just settled for the 35% money back because the return process was very convoluted and not easy. Absolutely do not buy from this company.

The dress is so cheap and badly made! Material plastic! They do not respond to my emails or call! Scammers!

Calling themselves Harper and Rowe ”out of Boston” 😉 The website fooled me! I am so dismayed by this horribly cheap product. They advertised their shoes as being orthopedic. Such blasphemy because it is the cheapest possible shoes you can imagine. I bought five pairs and they look so cheap like a dollar store purchase or lower. Fake leather and the thinnest material I have ever seen on a shoe. The bottom is completely flat almost like a doll‘s shoe. A prop. returning all. I got some shirts and a couple dresses that are itchy. Seams don’t line up, like it was made for maybe a small Bigfoot woman with long arms? I’m so disappointed. I should’ve done more research… Most of it is polyester and it’s bad. It is very late now, but I will begin in the morning… I should’ve known it was not from Boston because it took almost 2 weeks to get here. I guess that was the first clue.

Do not purchase from this store. They are a scam. The website states they have a 30 day return policy and instructs customers to send them an email for return instructions. I tried that twice and my emails came back for an invalid email address. I contacted them twice through their website and got no response. The items I received from them were exceptionally poor quality and looked nothing like the photos on their website. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and will be getting a full credit to my account. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY from this company.
