On the 1st October, I attended a valuation roadshow in Ludlow, Shropshire. I took a few bit & pieces the main one a charm bracelet with 26 charms on it, it had been professionally valued, albeit it was for insurance purposes. It’s valued at £5,600 they offered me £850, rather a big difference. Wasn’t interested in a solid silver bracelet or a 1/2 silver I got, offered a tenner. I think they really push their luck, hoping they find a mug to sell them their gold for peanuts!
