I am very happy with the product I bought from Hale, but I am just as happy about the customer service I received from them. When I compl[ete the installation properly, they were quick to send me additional materials at no charge and provide more direction to help me. They made it easy and my dog door works and looks great.

The item was well packed and promptly shipped. Now the fun part begins trying to take out the old flaps and replace the new flaps

I didn't install the door myself, but the person who did it for me did it with ease. My 2 cats (one 4 months the other 15 yrs) took a couple of days to adjust to it, neither having used an exterior cat door before, but it's been great so far. I have only had it in warmer weather so far, but it seems as though it will provide an adequate barrier against the cold and rain.

Was easy to install myself even with stucco exterior. German Shepard (1 year) and Black Lab (14 years) are both using the door. Took a few days of positive reinforcement for the lab to learn that she can go outside and return anytime she wishes. My Shepard didn't need too much coaxing, was easier for her. Now I have piece of mind if they need to get out of the house for safety reasons they aren't trapped and especially nice they can get out to the bathroom anytime they desire.

I purchased new dog door flaps back in March, 2015. The flaps ripped and when I called Hale and let them know what had happened, they immediately ordered another pair of flaps and shipped them out at no cost to me. I received them within a week, no questions asked. The company makes a durable product, honors their warranty, and gets it right the first time. We have had our dog door for over 10 years and have several different sized dogs barreling through it. The door has stood the test of time!

We have had our door for more than 10 years. We have replaced the flaps twice in that time. The door still works great, and ordering / delivery of the flaps is always fast and easy.

I avoided getting a pet door too long. It is saving me so many trips to the door with my four dogs. It took awhile to get them to use it. In fact, I had to order two training flaps to finally get them to go through freely. Will replace with original flaps when weather gets bad. My daughter likes mine so much that she is having one installed next week.

We have 2 properties and use Hale doors for our dogs at both. They are the best constructed doors we've seen. They are built with quality products and assemble easily. One of the doors has been in use for over six years and we've never had an issue with it or needed a replacement part. It still seals perfectly - helping with energy cost and the potential for other critters and bugs getting in. We only have dogs that we've rescued from Rescue Agencies. Hale door even provides a discount for people who do that and then on top of it, provides a donation to the Rescue agency. That is a great company - doing the right thing. We'd recommend to anyone.
