We just had the door installed by a handyman yesterday. We didn't have the tools to cut a hole in our wall, and didn't want to mess anything up. We were glad that we hired someone, because it took him 2 hours. We are very happy with the door. 2 of our 3 dogs used it right away with no problem. Our 3rd dogs is slighlty afraid of it for some reason, even though we have had a single flap dog door on a storm door at our last house for 4 years. He will get used to it, I believe, because the other dogs are enjoying it.

We have had our door for more than 25 years...needed a new flap. Order received in record time.....saddly, cost us 2 times the price of the flap to have it installed. It really is a handymans job, not good for us older folks.

This is my 5th wall mount Hale dog door over the past 14 years. Love the dual flap design. My last door faced the hot sun all afternoon and the flap lasted 10 years! Easy to install. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

This is my 4 th Hale door The first 3 are in my kennels I board for friends and run a rescue. SO it get allot of use They are durable and very well insulated. I am in the Pocono Mountains and there is no draft thru them. I have taught every dog to use them within minutes with treats. I recently bought a cat door and it was easily installed yesterday Oscar is learning to use it. Cats are not dogs :)))) But he will learn soon too.

I've always purchased a Hale. Best product on the market as far as quality. Even when the wind is howling, the heavy silicon doors stay in place. When I've had to replace one of the doors (extra large visiting dog tore it at the hinge), customer service got the right size to me in just a couple of days.
