Hale Pet DoorReviews of halepetdoor.com

We've had our pet door (single panel for sliding glass doors) for about 20 years. We saw 2 dogs through their natural lives and now have 2 more. The door sees a LOT of use. This is the second time now I have replaced the door flap (NO complaints on how long it lasts - believe me, a LOT of use and one guy likes to stand half-in, half-out, so it wears on the flap). The frame has withstood it's 20 years so far, with 2 replacement flaps. The replacement went smoothly, esp after watching your video, and all necessary parts were provided. Hard to find customer service and pride in product like that any more.

This is my second Hale Pet Door. They make a quality product and have great certified installers. The best part is their proactive customer service department to make sure that you have everything you need.

Installed replacement flaps. Took just under an hour. Fit perfectly & it was weird being able to see through the new flaps as they were clear & hadn't "yellowed" yet.

The company is outstanding. And the products are equally great, though there are some improvements I have suggested. For the price, these things should be *perfect* and there is still room for improvement.

Well satisfied, on time, good quality, and easy to install.

Was very pleased with the Hale Pet Door flaps and extremely pleased that I received them so promptly.

I'VE HAD A TALL LARGE HALE PET DOOR FOR 10 YEARS FOR MY IRISH SETTERS. I'VE REPLACED MY OUTSIDE FLAP 5 YRS AGO AND BOTH FLAPS THIS YEAR. WHILE I BELIEVE THE COMPANY IS TOP NOTCH, I HAD A LOT OF DIFFICULTY REPLACING THE MAGNETS AND STRIPS. THE VIDEO SHOWS EASY REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT, BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE. I WAS SENT ANOTHER SET OF MAGNETS AND STRIPS, BUT I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. FINALLY, I HAD TO USE PLIERS TO PINCH EACH END OF EACH MAGNET AND STRIP. THEN, USING A HEAVY RUBBER MALLET, I FORCEFULLY HAMMERED EACH PIECE IN PLACE. IT WAS NOT AN EASY INSTALL AND SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THAT DIFFICULT. I HOPE THE COMPANY LOOKS INTO THIS PROBLEM AND CHANGES THE THICKNESS OF THEIR MAGNETS AND STRIPS.

I had a little difficulty placing an order online, so I called up, spoke with a human being right away who answered my questions, placed my order, and even replaced the part under warranty and waived shipping. If only every company could operate like this.
