PLEASE USE THE COVER AND THE STRAPS
After reading a number of reviews, I will conquer that the stitching could be better where the straps attach and with the velcro openings. Myself I have had the protector for 10 years,this is number 2. The fans could be a better built,and having said that it needs to be mentioned that the individual motors do have fuses, and sometimes its the fuses that trip. I found replacement fuses at Lowes. It is annoying that the most important items on the hail protector system is also one of the weakest links. I have installed my cover today as a precaution and I intentionally left the middle straps unattached so I could verify that they should be used with your cover.I mention this because on one of the videos, the user states that he was not use the straps on his truck,I beg to differ and have photo to show the cover without..At all cost use your straps.
