Venturing into the world of HackerNoon, I found not just a content creation platform, but a blossoming haven for creative minds. Whether you're an aspiring writer fervently honing your craft, or a hobbyist seeking a vibrant outlet for your creative spurts, HackerNoon meets you where you are. As a platform, HackerNoon operates with the finesse of a traditional publishing house, but with a digital-age twist. It's the backstage crew, helping you to spotlight your work. Their dedication is truly laudable – they commit not only to cultivating your talent but also to ensuring your voice resonates amidst the cacophony of the web. Navigating through their user-friendly online editor is a breeze – it's like the Swiss Army knife for content creators. The streamlined interface allows you to zero in on your true calling: sculpting quality content. And once you've done that, you can rest easy. HackerNoon steps in to shoulder the promotional grunt work – provided your scribbles meet their esteemed standards, of course. I embarked on my HackerNoon journey just a few months ago, and now? Well, let's just say I've found my digital home. The thrill of hitting the 'publish' button, the anticipation of connecting with readers – it's intoxicatingly addictive. So here's to HackerNoon, for serving as the bridge between creators and readers, for championing the written word, and for its ceaseless dedication to fostering a truly unique digital storytelling landscape. I feel compelled to add that this glowing review of HackerNoon comes entirely unprompted and unaffiliated. I am not in any way sponsored by or connected to the platform; my words are not penned under any obligation or coercion. This enthusiastic portrayal of HackerNoon is purely a reflection of my own delightful experiences and the high regard I've developed for the platform. I write this review as a token of appreciation and a nod to the difference HackerNoon has made in my content creation journey.

I recently started writing tech articles and came across HackerNoon. Suddenly I got an email like this "Your account has now been added to Hacker Noon blacklist, and you will no longer be able to submit stories on HackerNoon. If you didn't plagiarize and this is a simple misunderstanding, please let us know and we can remove your account from our blacklist. To avoid getting permanently banned: You must reply to this email within 48 hours with your claims. " I replied to him within an hour but still they don't remove my account from blacklist. Also, I don't promote any website in my articles, then why you should do that kind of activities. Is this total waste of time? I lost my time and efforts.

Hi! I'm not sure what you are complaining about. You got caught plagiarizing and were banned for it. What did you expect? Half of your story (shown below) was copy pasted from CNBC : https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/25/chatgpt-users-can-now-turn-off-their-chat-history-openai-announces.html That is the definition of plagiarism, unless you're claiming you wrote this text first and CNBC copied it from you. Here is your text below: "OpenAI began rolling out improved controls Tuesday that will allow ChatGPT users to disable their chat history. Any conversations that occur while chat history is turned off will not be used to train OpenAI’s models or appear in the “history” sidebar, the company stated in a blog post. OpenAI said it will retain the new conversations for 30 days but will only review them if necessary to monitor for abuse. The new controls come after a bug briefly gave ChatGPT users access to records of other people’s conversations last month, and Italy became the first government to ban the chatbot over privacy concerns. “We hope this provides an easier method to manage your data than our existing opt-out process,” OpenAI wrote in the post. The company added that users can change their chat history settings at any time."

I've very much enjoyed my time writing for HackerNoon. It's given me time to refocus on gaming and my love of gaming and video game writing and reporting. I've received great support and guidance from my supervisors. Also, I've gotten the opportunity to interact and chat with other writers who are incredibly intelligent, classy, professional and supportive. My experience with HackerNoon has been exceptional.

There is no quality in their editorial process as I have seen many people post for money on that site
Response from HackerNoonMay 24, 2021
Hi Alan! Thanks so much for leaving a review. I can ensure you that our editorial team is growing and our process is getting better and better every quarter. The exact numbers vary per week, but just last week we rejected 130 articles, and had a rejection rate of about 41%. So I hope you trust me when I say a lot of editor's time is spent ensuring that our articles are free of overly promotional spam. Also, trying to sell paid guest posts is prohibited on HackerNoon (because posting is FREE). Anyone can submit an article on HackerNoon by creating a personal account. On the business side of things, HackerNoon does allow verified businesses to promote their work on HackerNoon, via our brand-as-author program. One of the use cases of Hacker Noon as a publishing platform is for CEOs, founders, and devs to show off the amazing work they do, and we will continue to help brands show off the amazing tech they are creating. The way we see it, as long as the reader gains more value from the article than the writer does, it's alright in our books. We hope to see your stories on HackerNoon in the future! - The HackerNoon Team
