Bad experience donating a fridge
We contacted Habitat for Humanity Restore to donate a fridge. They accepted our offer after viewing the pictures and descriptions we sent. After about a month, they asked us to get the fridge ready for curbside pickup. It took us lots of effort to move the fridge out of the apartment building so it's convenient for them to pick up. We waited for a whole day but the fridge was still there. We called them and was told that the offer was rejected since there are already too many in their inventory. It's inconsiderate and unprofessional to make a last minute change without noticing us. We waited for a month for them to respond, removed the apartment door in order to get the fridge out and now we need to move it back in. I hope you can get more organized and competent in the future. I do like your mission to "provide access to safe and decent housing for everyone". But you can't achieve it if you continue disappointing people that can potentially help and make their lives harder.
