I visited this salon after seeing several positive reviews online, as I wanted to get my daughter’s hair cut. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The pricing was particularly unprofessional. The price advertised online was different from what I was quoted at the counter after they saw my daughter’s hair length, and then the price changed again once she was seated for the haircut. There was no apology or proper explanation for the inconsistency. I did not want to make a fuss, so I simply paid the extra and got the haircut done. What disappointed me even more was what my daughter told me afterwards. The person cutting her hair asked how often she gets a haircut, and when my daughter said once a year, he apparently reacted by making a comment about her only getting a haircut once a year and continued making an issue about the additional £5. It is not about the £5 itself; it is about the attitude and the way the situation was handled, especially towards a young customer. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was also not what we expected. Her hair looked dull and frizzy afterwards, rather than looking fresh and well-finished. Overall, I found the service and professionalism lacking. If you are used to a professional salon experience with clear pricing and good customer service, I would not recommend this salon.

-My hair salon stylist was occasionally on her phone throughout serving me and so were her colleagues just hanging around customers, in between treatments, and doing the same. -I asked for my hair to be washed beforehand. The stylist just very quickly wet my hair prior to applying shampoo -My stylist was gossiping with a colleague about another colleague, who was on her phone, rather than helping a customer. Gossiping shouldn’t happen, or be made obvious, in front of customers. It seemed like they had something personally against that colleague and that’s why didn’t approach her directly, but gossiped instead

Really great Job from Mustafa. Amazing new messy cut for my short hair and beautiful blond highlights. I absolutely love it. Perfekt even without styling. Highly recommended. Dana

I paid £144 on the app for a balayage, then ended up paying an extra £80 for Olaplex and toner. I was told to 'open my ears' even though the prices had not been dictated to me beforehand. I have curly hair, and my hair was dried with a hair dryer, not a diffuser, and left looking like I'd been dragged through a bush. Do not go here.

Maria did my hair yesterday and she did a work of art. After a decade of dying my hair black with box dye, Maria lifted my hair, did the blue bayalage with dark hair on the rest and looks absolutely amazing. She talked me through every single step and I have never had my hair coloured in a salon before and had not had it cut for 2 years. She made me feel so comfortable and laugh with her funny and bubbly personality. Thank you Maria for the best hair experience I’ve ever had!

Amazing experience every time I go to Gusto in Wigmore St. My hair always looks amazing Thank you Gusto 🥰

Visited on 5.2.24 and had the most horrible experience with the staff . This was not my first time I booked with the salon ( as previously have had good experience) . Had booked for toner , hair cut and blow dry £57 . On arriving I was told I will have to pay extra and toner will not help me so I was being pushed to use hair colour when I actually didn’t want it . I told them I am not doing a blow dry and I just need a trim. However the receptionist argued with me and told me that will be an extra amount as well !!! I was shocked and frustrated as the lady failed to understand and was rude as well . It seemed like they just didn’t want to offer what I booked for and wanted me to extra for hair colour and hair cut when I actually didn’t want those services . Never returning and will not recommend. They also didn't refund the amount but didnt Leave me with any other option but to cancel . So I didn't receive the service I booked and lost my money too .
