GurucanReviews of gurucan.com

A self contained business- everything you need to be a coach or a mentor or even for internal training purposes. I don't mind that the app is not whitelabel, it is dedicated so your clients only see your courses. But you've got course creation, quizzes/exams/webinars/homework/push notification (which I've not managed to get to work yet) and email marketing with drip feed and conditions (but no A/B testing though maybe that's not needed in this context). I'm having no issues so far with using this but its early days yet. Still, everything seems there

The platform is exactly what I was looking for after trying MANY other options. The biggest selling point for me is that my students can access my lessons from an app on their phone. White label would be great, and I will consider that later. I love being able to set up "homework". I am using this to simply ask for their feedback after each lesson. Gives me the opportunity to correspond one to one with the student. I didn't have any issues connecting it to my Paypal account. It's easy to set up classes, though it was a bit confusing to set up lessons that drip out, one day apart. I ended up making a chapter for each lesson and could drip the chapter. Not sure why a series of lessons couldn't be dripped. Three reason this wasn't quite a 5 star: 1. Some of my admin emails that were generated from the gurucan platform came marked as spam. This gives me no other option but to export to my own autoresponder and/or send personal emails directly from my gmail account. Not ideal. 2. I love the idea of being able to drip out lessons and to send automated emails, BUT these two functions don't integrate very well. There's definitely room for improvement here. 3. Push notifications. It would be preferable to select by users name or even a tag when choosing who to send these to. As of now, can only send to ALL or all members of a certain course. If members have enrolled at different times are are getting drip content, this doesn’t work out to well. Overall, this has tons of potential and I will continue to use with hopes that more great features and functionality will continue to roll out!

I was looking for a course software similar to Kajabi or Thinkific and I came across Gurucan. Gurucan has so many features all in one and not to mention a mobile app to go aling with it. I am in the process of migrating my workshops over to Gurucan and the backend seemed easy to navigate and I am looking forward to updates and how the creators will take it to the next level. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a course builder with quizzes, memberships, integrations and so much more to check out Gurucan and don't let the offer past you by!

Gurucan came at the perfect time for me. I hope to launch a course within two months and I will be doing so with this learning management system. It's intuitive and easy to use when you're setting up a brand new course. There are limited user interface templates that are quite basic. (Which works for me at the moment.)

It was a nice experience. There was a need of the hour to address few important issues wrt features and functionalities that are required for a smooth running of online courses. GURUCAN has tried and has been successful to address that issues. I have subscribed GURUCAN and I am completely satisfied with the platform

Checking it out, so far so good. It's pretty intuitive to use and has a lot of advanced marketing features you might not get with another platform unless you pay a lot more. Excited to see where they take it!

I recently purchased a lifetime deal for gurucan which was amazing value. I am loving it so far and am excited to create my courses on the platform. It's great that they have a mobile app for users to access courses through. Also the option to host free and paid courses is fantastic plus the ability to upload media and articles. Even meal plans. There really is a lot of features. I look forward to seeing the product develop and hope they smooth out a few issues that have arisen with the platform. I'd like to see them ensure all content is secure and safe from intellectual theft. Videos already are but other content needs to be too. And the issue with needing a cerifited translator doesn't affect me but people need to be aware of that.

Gurucan is a simple setup online course. It has a simple CRM, email marketing, push-notification and coupon system. You can connect to your own domain by changing the DNS A-record. Gurucan is designed to work on a desktop computer and mobile devices. Simply sign up, then complete the onboarding process by adding your domain name, email, and website. In about an hour, you will have a fully functional online course. One other thing, their customer service is excellent!. Cons. There is no student feedback/survey feature, which I think is very necessary for any online course. The video widget supports only YouTube and Vimeo's videos. To embed videos hosted by a third-party platform, you will need to insert a simple HTML code as a workaround. Unfortunately, this trick will work only on a desktop computer but not on mobile devices. Also, the setup workflow is not very intuitive.
