Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Kristy. We’re sorry to hear your experience has not met your expectations, particularly after an earlier positive impression of the school. Staffing transitions can happen over time as educators grow in their careers or pursue new opportunities. When changes occur, we remain focused on maintaining continuity and a stable, supportive environment for children in the classroom. All of our lead guides are either Montessori trained or actively completing accredited training, and assistant guides are hired based on experience and readiness to support the classroom. We place strong emphasis on preparation and ongoing development across our teams. Any classroom combining referenced relates only to end-of-day operational routines to support closing procedures and supervision, and does not reflect changes to children’s core learning environment. We also recognize the importance of clear and consistent communication with families and are continually working to strengthen this. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you and your family all the best.

At Guidepost Montessori, we care deeply about each child’s development and about working in partnership with families. We also take our responsibility to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all children and Guides very seriously. Because we must respect the privacy of children, families, and staff, we are unable to comment on individual circumstances shared in this review. However, we want to clarify that the concerns raised do not reflect the Montessori training standards or the expectations we hold for our classrooms. Our Guides are trained to support children’s growth socially, emotionally, and academically within a carefully prepared Montessori environment. When challenges arise, we work closely with families to understand each child’s needs and to explore appropriate supports both in and outside the classroom. In some cases, where a child’s needs indicate that our environment may not be the right fit at a particular time, decisions regarding continued enrollment are made thoughtfully with school leadership, always with the safety and well-being of all children and Guides as the highest priority. We remain committed to open communication and to fostering strong relationships with families, and we encourage anyone with concerns to connect directly with the school so we can address them together.
