Notifications from GroupMe are regularly spotty. I have notifications turned on for this app, but frequently receive late or no notification. Sometimes I only find out when I open the app or am contacted some other way. I also occasionally receive three or more notifications all for the same message. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I am definitely looking for an alternative app.
