I like the returns on these loans

I've been on Groundfloor now for almost a year and I just love the platform in every way. The information is clear and concise, their help articles do a really good job explaining what an LRO investment is, and transferring funds was super easy. All this was enough to convince me to throw some money at it to test out. Sure enough... I've consistently earned 10-12% on my investments and I'm allocating more money to it every month. Get after it.

Great investing platform with housing projects all over the eastern us

I've been using Groundfloow since April 2018, and very happy with their service. More importantly, I believe Groundfloor is giving access to real estate investment to everybody (including middle-class and lower-class American). Their software is easy to use and their customer service usually responds to me within an hour during business time. Groundfloor usually has over 30 or 40 properties that you can invest in. They did all the financial analysis before they approved the loan, so this makes it safer and easier for investors. They also rank the investment risk based on multiple factors, such as loan amount, borrower's experience, etc. If you're not comfortable investing in a high-risk loan, you can start with the safer loan that gives your around 5% to 7% ROI annually. Some of my friends and relatives were skeptical of Groundfloor, because of the famous "Ponzi scheme". I did too; that's why when I started with Groundfloor, I started small with just $10. After I invested in a property, I will check the property tax record of that property (a few months later) to make sure the borrower really purchased the house. I did that for a few houses, and I feel better about it. Some of my investments went to "default," but Groundfloor is always good at keeping you posted on some delay of the repayment or other issues, and working things out with the borrowers. A small percentage of my high-risk (grade D or E) investments went bad where I could only get my money back or very small interest on the loan. However, I appreciate the Groundfloor team working hard and getting my money back.
