Not only do these gents know a thing or two about jewelry, they are fantastic people who are personable and a joy to be around. I look forward to visits rather than worried about being taken advantage of like at large commercial jewelers (James & Sons, Zales, Jared, Kay, etc.). Gregg Helfer is the absolute best private jeweler, there is no other private jeweler we have and will ever use. Greg designed my engagement ring, working closely with my husband who had no previous experience with a private jeweler. Greg then designed our wedding rings, and we have subsequently purchased numerous absolutely gorgeous custom pieces from Gregg. I went to Gregg for a custom engagement ring. He spent almost an hour teaching me about diamonds, offered advice, and never pressured me. His staff delivered a detailed rendering of the ring as well as a wax mold to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. The entire process was smooth, enjoyable, and quick. I recommend Gregg to any friend who is in the market.
