Not Overly Impressed
I went with Green Van Lines after they provided a very thorough estimate and thoroughly explained the process for my move from TX to FL. The day of the move the movers showed up late, I had to call them to find out what was going on. A call to say they had truck problems would have been more appropriate, They packed up everything and all went smoothly. Since I did not have a permanent place in FL set up my delivery was TBD. I contacted them within two weeks with my new address and availability to accept delivery. However, if I did not constantly call them to get an ETA on delivery they would never call me. The day of delivery I was forced to pay a long haul charge. I am on the 2nd floor, elevator so no stairs and less than 100 ft from elevator. They did unpack and set up the items they packed but left all their cardboard and shrink wrap in front of my door for me to dispose. One of my dressers so now I will see how they plan to resolve it. Not at all impressed that after they charge you for everything they request tips, which I found insulting since they did not go above and beyond what they were contracted to do. Overall, my experience was ok.
