Green Exterior Modeling made the process of adding custom, heavy duty facia and hardy soffits with new gutters on the second floor level of my home, a simple one. His crew was great and they were easy to work with when questions and a few snags arose. They really made it look easy.

My concern with my project from the start was that it be ADA compliant... Brian seemed very nice and we went over several options for the project before settling on a solution. After receiving an estimate from Brian for an interior staircase (ONLY 3 steps, for $3000+), I immediately accepted the proposal and without hesitation mailed the deposit for $1908! After they received the deposit, no official date for install had been set. During which time a Richland County Inspector came by and said to me that a permit would be required. I went back to Green Exterior and told them this. At which time, Chris was introduced. He offered to be a "GC" so I wouldn't worry about permits/ drawings or any other contractors for $600.. materials were dropped and of course with other projects I don't know which company dropped them. They sat in the rain and sun for two weeks. Finally a date was set. Unfortunately , one of their guys had a family emergency and was not able to come out. Another week went by. Finally, I said that I wanted to cancel/ refund at this point and would take the $750 loss since they dropped materials.... Instead of losing the money and deposit, my husband convinced me to keep trying to work with them on another project instead. They gave me an overpriced estimate for an exterior ramp $12000+, that other companies quoted half that amount. At this point, I'm not trusting the intentions of Green Exteriors and declined the $12000+ proposal, again requesting a refund. After a month, I reached out about when to expect the remaining deposit minus the wood... Now Chris has stated they WILL NOT refund because they invested too much time.... Well so have I.. time and money! Beware of this company and get at least 3 estimates before approving anything from them!!!!

We couldn’t be happier with the deck Shaun and his team built for us! From start to finish, Mike was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding, and the quality of the construction is top-notch. Highly recommend Shaun and his crew for anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space!

Bob was fantastic to work with from start to finish! He and his crew took my worn-out front deck and transformed it into something truly beautiful. Not only did he manage to fit my project in ahead of schedule, but they also completed the work in just a few days. Since this deck is my home’s only entryway, getting it done quickly was critical—and they absolutely delivered. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! I already have a couple of other projects in mind and can’t wait to work with Mike and his team again. Thanks, Bob!

"Shaun and his team exceeded all expectations! I needed a wraparound deck built around our 16x20 elevated sunroom to make cleaning the windows and maintaining the gutters easier with just an 8’ step ladder. At the same time, I wanted to create an inviting outdoor space where my wife and I could relax and take in the beauty of our surroundings. Shaun delivered on both fronts. His crew worked together seamlessly, and it was exciting to see the transformation unfold day by day. Their teamwork was impressive—everything flowed smoothly, and they made significant progress while keeping the site tidy at the end of each day. Now, our home feels more open and enjoyable than ever, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Huge thanks to Shaun and his crew for their hard work and craftsmanship!"

Shaun and his team did an outstanding job on our new deck. He provided a detailed computer-generated design and walked us through all the available options before getting started. Once on the schedule, he stayed on track and kept us updated daily, giving us a clear idea of the timeline. Shaun’s professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in his work truly stand out. As much as we’d love to keep him our secret, we have to share him with the community—highly recommend!
