We (8) did the Brisbane event last night (March 2025) Negative points Music was DJ not 1920’s nor was there a band. I wasn’t expecting modern doof doof music. Never saw the show girls at all and apparently they were only out for a short while This is not a 1920 experience. Positives Time with friends The casino game guys were exceptional Staff were super friendly Everyone dressed up which was fabulous Would I go again? No Would I recommend it to others? As a gathering with friends yes. As a 1920’s experience No. Other points More information about parking would have been great. Not everyone is from Brisbane who attends these things. Time on the boat was too long, 10pm would have been more than long enough as the event currently runs.

Hi Kelly, Thanks so much for your detailed feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share both the highlights and the things you felt missed the mark. While we’re glad to hear you had fun with friends, enjoyed the casino experience, and found our team friendly (we’ll be sure to pass that on to them!), we’re sorry the event didn’t fully meet your expectations as a 1920s-style experience. We do want to clarify a few things: Music & Entertainment We did advertise the night to include two levels of electro swing and Gatsby-style classics to start, followed by more modern music as the night progressed. That was our first run in Brisbane and that said, we’ve since gone one step further and now include a live jazz band on the lower level at future events to better cater to guests looking for a more traditional 1920s vibe. Showgirls Our Gatsby showgirls were indeed performing throughout the night across various levels (as seen in our photo albums on Facebook), but we’re sorry if you missed them during their roaming sets, timing can be tricky on a multi-level event, and we’ll take your comment onboard to increase their visibility further. Parking & Communication We did send a pre-event email with parking information to all ticket holders, but we’ll look into how we can make this clearer or more prominent for future guests, especially those travelling from out of town. Event Duration Noted on the length of the cruise, while many guests enjoy the full evening, we’re always reviewing run times and will take this on board when planning future events, with events now also scheduled for venues where guests can come and go at times that suit them.
