WALT
Are you the customer?
I am not one to say much, but here is my experience. I was told when I first sent in my coins for consignment that they pride themselves on underpromising and overdelivering. well although, some communicated with professionalism. It all turned upside down when I received this call from their accounting department. Long story short, I requested a simple request for them to pay me electronically. They asked all this personal information about me. But why would you ask all this information to not do what you stated you were on planning to do. This is most bizarre. The lady even questioned the banks authority and credibility stating "anyone could create an official letter from the bank for a voided check" ... what kind of assumption is this? I calmly communicated to her, but she was completely unprofessional and distraught. Not sure why.... she acted as if she is the client... Anyways, her lack of faith is most disturbing. They failed to listen to the client. Which is why they should think twice as ignorant as it may seem. It takes a lot to earn the business of a client. To say the least, they overpromised and underdelivered. I was also told when I received an estimate for the value of my coins. Well they came well under that value. The experience was not what I expected. I was surprised at her reaction, which is what has made this a bit disappointing. This is not transactional, not sure why they would treat customers this way? In the future, I will have to think about doing business with them.
