I bought a pair of sandals and they just didn't fit my feet like they should've but the company was very understanding and went above and beyond to make it right.

Hi Shawn, thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review. I really appreciate the kind words.
Fit can be tricky sometimes, especially with performance gear, and I’m glad our team was able to sort it out and make things right for you. We care a lot about how our products feel and function in real training environments, and feedback like this helps us keep improving.
Thanks again for your support. We’re grateful to have you in the Grapple Guard community.

Cool T-shirt, bad rash guard
First, the good: the T-shirt was soft, the design was well done, and it laundered well.
The not-so-good: I also bought a rash guard that is constructed from pre-cut components and then sewn together. The sleeves are so long they cover my hands. The construction is such that there's a gap under my armpits that doesn't allow the garment to lay flat against my body, thus limiting my range of motion. Instead of being more diligent about quality control, the burden of proof is placed on thr customer--send photos to prove the item is defective. They have a blanket policy about not giving refunds for fit issues. Well, obviously if a garment isn't made well, it's not going to fit. Basically, the garment is non-functional for its purpose. I don't recommend buying gear for BJJ from Grapple Guard.

Hi Melanie, thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. I’m genuinely sorry the rash guard didn’t work out for you. That’s frustrating, especially when you’re buying gear that needs to perform during training.
To add some context for anyone reading, when a customer believes an item may be defective, we do ask for photos so we can understand the issue and prevent it from happening again. That process is part of our quality control, not a way to avoid responsibility.
After reviewing your case, we did issue a full refund because your satisfaction matters to us, even when there’s disagreement around fit or construction. We never want anyone to feel stuck with gear they can’t use.
We’ve also spoken directly with our manufacturing partner about the concerns you raised. Because our apparel is printed on demand, there can occasionally be one off production issues, and feedback like this helps us identify and correct them so they don’t happen on future orders.
We appreciate you calling out what you liked about the T-shirt, and we’re continuing to refine our rash guard patterns and sizing based on real customer feedback like this. If you’d ever like to revisit our gear in the future, we’d be happy to help directly.
Wishing you the best in your training.
