I purchased 2 verona automatic faucets for $1314.17 on 4/23/20.
I researched the necessary kits and verified with Rubbermaid and another vendor so that I purchased the corrects units. My big concern was that it came with the necessary 4" cover plate. Both units did not come with the cover plate. Even the owners manual states it should and gives me an 800 number if left out to call and get it sent. My response from Grainger was nope we don't include it sorry.

Over Billing
Recently made a purchase and ended up with my card charged twice and they would do nothing to correct it so I had to wait for 5 days for it to clear off my bank account so I could access that money. When I called them the guy on the phone was rude and tried to make it out that it was like my fault that it happened.

Extremely high prices, even for contractors
I recently set up a business account with Grainger online, and had high hopes of buying items from them that I use and sell most. I had heard from so many people (businesses) that Grainger is the way to go if you're a business or contractor. However, right after creating my new account, I logged on to have a look at some items that I use most and or pass on to my customers. I found higher prices at Grainger than I did anywhere else on most items. For instance: The Reliance 10 circuit transfer switch. I was absolutely SHOCKED to see it priced at over $600.00ea at Grainger- MY COST- as a business. I have been buying them from Home Depot for $375.00ea - At anyone’s cost!
I contacted Grainger and asked them about this. They replied with "As you purchase more from Grainger your discounts MAY increase." So… I have to spend twice the price for their items - so I MAY get a discount at some point in the future that may be about what I am spending for them now anywhere else??? Does that make any sense at all??? Not to me!! I found, on average, for items I buy and sell, that Grainger was $200 to $300 more than I pay at the “Big Box” stores for the exact same items. Sad - huh?
Unfortunately for them - fortunately for me, I promptly deactivated my account with Grainger and will seek business elsewhere. Perhaps that's what they want - to turn businesses away who don't spend millions per year there. Maybe they feel that by marking their prices so high for some, small or new businesses will simply shop elsewhere- and if they chose to still buy from Grainger, well then that's just a lot of extra pocket lining for them. Folks swear by the great prices, but sadly, I couldn't see it. I would not be able to sleep at night, passing on these huge overages to my customers. No thanks Grainger!!
