Hi Dakota! Sorry you found that the insert did not fit for your graduation cap. We tested the insert on caps from the companies that provide the majority of the caps to the market; Jostens, Herff Jones and a few others that are not branded. Our goal was to create a product that was as universal as possible. Thank you again for your feedback.

We appreciate your feedback. You can contact us at [email protected]. We provide a complimentary unisex headband with each insert since we are providing it to a wide audience. The headband is interchangeable if you need better fit or color. We have also found that people have difficulties with it staying on if they are putting the hat toward the back of their head. It fits best right on top of your head, with the mortar board parallel to the ground.

We would like to send you a replacement unit. You may have received one that had a defect. We have received no other reports of the unit breaking and we have tested them on many caps, inserting and reinserting several times with no breakage, so this definitely is not normal.
