We take all customer feedback seriously and strongly dispute the allegations made in this review. GovRecover is a licensed private investigative agency, and we operate in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations. We do not "steal" anyone's information. Our services are provided pursuant to written agreements that clearly disclose our contingent fees before any work is performed. Clients are under no obligation to proceed if they choose not to engage our services. In this matter, the claimant's recovery claim was successfully filed with the appropriate state agency and remains pending with the state for processing. Unfortunately, processing timelines are determined solely by the state and, in some cases, can be significantly delayed due to state processing backlogs. While we understand these delays can be frustrating, they are outside of our control. Throughout the process, we remain available to assist our claimants, answer questions, provide updates whenever available, and advocate on their behalf until their claims are resolved. We are committed to providing professional, transparent service and helping our clients navigate what can often be a lengthy and complex recovery process.

Hello Vickie, while we understand your concern, we'd like to point out the facts regarding your claim status. According to our records, we received your documents and submitted your claim to the Georgia Department of Revenue in August. Once a claim is submitted, the processing timeline is entirely controlled by the state. As disclosed to you when you started your claim, it is common for Georgia to take 3-6 months to review and payout claims, especially on older assets like one from 2012. When a claim is in progress, the related asset often no longer appears in the public unclaimed property search, which can make it look like it “disappeared.” That usually means it has moved into a different internal status at the state, not that it was never there. Because this is a public forum, we cannot post your private claim details here. If you contact us directly, we can: Confirm the exact date your claim was filed in August Provide your notarized state claim forms Confirm that Georgia has not requested anything further and is still processing your claim. Our role is to prepare and submit your claim correctly and respond to any follow-ups from the state; whether and when the state issues payment is ultimately up to them. We’re happy to walk you through the current status one-on-one so you have a clear picture of where things stand. You can call our office directly or email [email protected] for any information you may require. Thank you for your trust and patience. We look forward to getting your claim through as we have successfully done for the thousands of claimants before you.
