I do a lot of world travel, and this was one of the best trips I have ever been on. From the beginning, their attention to detail was obvious. They saved me money by suggesting I trek in Uganda, but still found me some spectacular lodgings. Every step of the way someone was there to guide and accompany me, even though I was a solo traveler. There were several border crossings where everyone else seemed to be be hanging up, but I had all my visas and immunization records at hand thanks to their advice...and sailed through. I liked the way they kept e-mailing me throughout the days leading up to the trip to be certain I was ready. And the experience, with the gorillas, golden monkeys, and Batwa village were all just outstanding. Because they do so much business in the area, I just seemed to get special treatment from everyone. In the Mghinga National Park, I stayed in a 4 room bungalow where they built a fire for me and placed hot water bottles in my bed. The food was fantastic, and I heard later they had upgraded me because they like the company so much. It just pays to travel with someone that plans a lot of it and is so respected in the area, and it certainly made for a first class experience!

The service provided by The Gorilla Safari Company was EXCELLENT! Donna and Amanda were able to listen to what we wanted to do and then plan and suggest the trip accordingly. The hotels, lodges, air and road transportation they chose were perfect as well as all the activities, from a zip line in Tanzania (considering we were traveling with three teenagers) to game drives, to a school visit in Uganda everything was taken care of. The Gorilla Safari Company offers an App through which we were able to have all the details of our trip, this was very helpful. If we did this trip again we would do it exactly the same! THANK YOU!

Trip was awesome. We saw tons of animals very close We got great photos of the big 5 and soooo much more Including dung beetles millipedes birds monkeys hippos crocks and on and on. Every where we looked there was something to see From the local people to the scenery to the plethora of wildlife it was nonstop. The gorilla trecking was steep and slippery but sooo worth the effort. Great photos only feet away Definitely hire the porters I am pretty fit and still was glad we had them.

The accommodations were very nice. The staff at the Mahinga Lodge were very gracious and accommodating. Our guide, Mbabazi, who picked us up in Rwanda and stayed with us for the entire trip was great and took very good care of us. The gorillas were fantastic. I hope to go back!

Donna & Amanda were a pleasure to work with. I didn't want pre arranged trip and want to see a lot in a short time. Gorilla safari was able to piece together everything I wanted with great hotels and camps. The holiday went smoothly and the recommdationswere spot on. The itinerary on the app worked flawless. I will be working with them again for sure.

Trip of a lifetime adventure. I can strongly recommend The Gorilla Safari Company for putting our adventure together and helping us check off another adventure on our bucket list. My friend and I were extremely lucky to encounter one of the largest groups of gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest after only trekking for about 30-40 minutes. Loved staying at Mahogany Lodge as the service, staff and food were excellent. This was an experience we will never forget.

I loved this trip more than anything. It was a dream of mine to visit the mountain gorillas of Uganda and I did just that. How marvelous it was to find our assigned family of gorillas within 15 minutes of entering the forest. It was a privilege to be amongst these magnificent creatures and the bonus was seeing the silverback, leader of the family, and observing him closely, as he went about his morning activities. Everything about this one week journey worked beautifully for me. All of the animals were exquisite. The accommodations (the lodges) and the meals were great. Our guide, Jude, had a difficult job, driving us to our different destinations and he did it so well. If you want adventure and excitement and a jam packed week of activity, this is the trip one should consider. It's so much more than I ever expected it to be and the terrific thing is that everything was well planned out ahead of time. This made the trip run very smoothly. I highly recommend this safari vacation without any hesitation.

We have never experienced any company or trip as amazing as the Gorilla Safari Company! We have traveled all over the world & this was by far the most organized, extraordinary trip we have Made! The Silverback lodge was amazing, the staff and food over a 5 star! The cow ceremony they planned at a Rwanda village was an added surprise! The Gorilla Trek was fabulous and we experienced more than we could have imagined! The deluxe tent in Serengeti with the bathtub & fireplace was the topping to an amazing Safari! We can’t recommend this company enough, the staff, food, lodging and extra amenities were over the top!
