The Gorilla Safari CompanyReviews of gorillasafaricompany.com

Very attentive and flexible pre-trip planning and information made the trip smooth. Donna and Amanda were all about making the trip of dreams! On the trip everything went according to the itinerary and partners on the ground such as Pollmans and Governor's were on time and efficient as well as friendly and informative for all transfers and day trips. I would recommend Gorilla Safari Company to plan your trip!

Highly recommended as the go-to company for gorilla trekking and safari in Uganda. Best value for the price and experience that I could find. Strong and efficient team from the start of booking to the finish of your trip.

Amanda and Donna were very attentive to all of my requests - a pre-trip to bird plus an extension to Kenya after the main trip, as well as a second gorilla trek. They planned a wonderful adventure for me and my friend and appointed Jude, an incredible, knowledgeable gent who put us on a ton of beautiful, oft rare birds, to be our guide. The entire excursion ran smoothly and it was a life-altering, beyond words experience! Thank you Gorilla Safari Company.

Having been to Africa several times prior to my most recent trip with the Gorilla Safari Company, I can say with confidence that this company should be top rated. From their easy availability for pre trip inquiries, to their choice of top notch guides throughout our journey and their superior lodging choices, all was excellent. I have to give an additional mention and high accolades to Jude Ainomugisha, our birding guide and driver for our stay in Uganda. He is a top notch bird guide as well as a competent driver and able tour guide. He made our trip both special and memorable in so many ways. I give the Gorilla Safari Company high praise for hiring the most competent guides, capable of making all their clients feel safe and secure in the sometimes unfamiliar African Safari environments. Kudos to you all!

TGSC provided excellent customer service at every point in my trek to see the Gorillas in Uganda. Emails exchanges from Donna and Kate were very timely and comprehensive. Information covered everything I needed to know before I left the US. (And I asked a lot of questions). My driver Emmanuel who I spent hours with due to my drive from Rwanda to Uganda was very good in navigating the roads. And was always checking on my needs during my stay at the Nkuring Bwindi Gorilla Lodge. The moderately priced lodge exceeded my expectations on food and comfort. I selected TGSC for this activity due to the great responses and information that was provided to me. I found tours/treks that were more and less expensive but i felt most comfortable with TGSC. I will be adding reviews via trip advisor in the near future.

Me and my husband have just got back from an amazing trip to Rwanda and Uganda, organised by Donna and Amanda from The Gorilla Safari Company. I had arranged this trip as a surprise for my husbands 50th birthday, and being our first trip to Africa I had lots of questions, and concerns. However everything was superb, and they tailor made the trip to our requirements, nothing was too much bother for them and the service they provided was second to none. The trip was fantastic, and we couldn't fault anything, from the organisation of the itinerary, to the accommodation, to our driver and guide Emma, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We experience two amazing but very different gorilla treks in Uganda and both were simply stunning. I cannot thank Amanda and Donna enough for this once in a lifetime experience, and I would highly recommend their services.

Thank you so much for creating a wonderful safari! Loved my drivers Amos and Jude. Will recommend to everyone for an unforgettable experience!

I can not thank Gorilla Safari Company enough for coordinating such an amazing trip. We missed a flight due to an airline error and it was handled amazingly by the company.. quick and efficient. We were quickly put on a smaller, private plane to our destination and barely missed any time on the safari. Jude and Amos our guides/ drivers were fantastic! Always making sure we were happy, fed and hydrated and getting us safely to and from each activity. The hotels we stayed at were much better than I expected. The staff, at each hotel, catered to our needs every time and always with a smile. And not to mention the food was very good. I hope to go on another adventure with gorilla safari company in the future. And will not hesitate to pass on the companies information! Our only regret is not staying longer!!
