Amanda and Donna at the Gorilla Safari Company could not have been more helpful putting together our personalised agenda and meeting our requirements. They listened and made suggestions which led to a wonderful holiday meeting and exceeding our expectations. Would use again and highly recommend.

Exceptional experience in remote areas of Africa
Exceptional experience in remote Africa. All accommodations were superb. Service excellent at all sites. 2 aspects to highlight. First, the responsiveness, organizational skill, and online demeanor of the folks (Donna Robins and Amanda Weller at The Goriila Safari Co home base could not have been better. First rate tour company. Second, we were entrusted to two excellent drivers. Omar in Rwanda was pleasant and informative. We felt safe. Emma in Rwanda was exceptionally skilled at navigating challenging “roads”. As importantly, he was a pleasure to be around. We loved him!!

Uganda Trip - And The Gorilla Safari Company - Absolutely The Best
We booked our recent trip to Uganda with The Gorilla Safari Company. They were terrific. Besides the usual, we had a number of things that we wanted to do that were unique to us and aren’t on typical itineraries. We let Kate know, and everything was seamlessly arranged beforehand. It was perfect. And, at no effort whatsoever on our part! The guides, the gorilla tracking, our “extra curriculars” and the lodge - Mahogany Springs - all were excellent. This was our second trip to track the gorillas in Uganda (yes, the amazing experience is worth doing more than once), and it far exceeded our expectations.
In addition to everything having been meticulously arranged when we got there, the pre-trip information and follow up were extraordinary. We were kept informed about all aspects of the trip by email, phone, and by a really great app called Travel Key. The Gorilla Safari Company puts your entire personal itinerary, with all details, and photos, online via the app. Pretty neat - and extremely useful.
We love wildlife tracking/viewing and travel quite a lot. (This was our 5th international wildlife eco-travel trip in 2018.) In the past 6 years, we’ve done over 20 trips. In those 6 years, we’ve been to India, Sri Lanka, the Pantanal, Papua New Guinea, the Amazon, and Africa (12 times). Without a doubt, and without exception, The Gorilla Company’s trip planning and on the ground arrangements was unsurpassed and pre-trip care was by far the best. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

We would love to work with you both again in the future and we very much look forward to speaking in the new year and hearing more about your adventures!

100% satisfied with the excellent service!
100% satisfied with the excellent service and professionalism of both Donna and Amanda in planning every detail of our trip to Rwanda to see the magnificent Silverback Gorillas. Ask them to see our once in a lifetime video of our gorilla trekking adventure. My wife and I live in New York City and only corresponded with the company by phone and email, yet every part of our trip happened flawlessly. Please do not hesitate to use The Gorilla Safari Company to plan your trip!

UGANDA AND TANZANIA
My experience could not have been better, from landing in Entebbe to transfers to Bwindi, the Gorilla trek. The lodging could not have been better than Mahogany Springs, it is amazing. Visiting the school was a highlight as the children put on quite a performance!
The transfer to Tanzania went off without a hitch. Our guide was exceptional, our Safari was unbelievable. The tent camps were as close to perfection as you can get.
Amanda and Donna at Gorilla Safari know their stuff ~ from lodging comfort to guide selection. I recommend this company with the utmost respect and confidence. Should I travel to Africa again (and I hope I will) I would immediately call The Gorilla Safari Company!

Thank you Susan, you and your sister were a delight to work with and we are all over the moon that you had such a great trip - we were literally grinning from ear to ear when we read this! Your generous donations to the school in Buhoma really touched our hearts and will have made a huge difference to the school and its pupils. Thank you for the great comments about David too - he is a fabulous guide. Please do keep in touch as we would LOVE to work with you again on another adventure.
