Hi there! It breaks my heart to know that our socks did not meet your expectations. The socks that are showcased on our website are photos of our actual socks placed on a foot mold. The socks are meant to form to the foot and leg of the wearer. If you are experiencing bunching at the ankle then there seems to be a sizing issue, that I am more than happy to assist you with rectifying! Black / Brown dogs can be tricky, we don't edit the photos you send in, we crop the original photos that are sent in. Sometimes, the lighting in the photo can alter the color of the pet, which may not be obvious in the original photo, but once the photo is cropped, it becomes visible.
