I was very excited about this order-until it got here
I was very excited about this order. Until I got it. The material was cheap and felt like a tent. The picture was even worse. It was not cut close around my dogs face at all and seemed dark and cloudy. I had not told my husband about my order and when I showed him the bandana he didn't even know it was our own dog. That is how bad of a job they did! I was very disappointed. I will not be ordering from Pupsocks ever again.

Stretch factor
I got three sets of socks with a picture of my dog's face on them, two as gifts and one for myself. They looked great when I took them out of the package - the graphic designers (or software or whatever) that Pupsocks uses perfectly trimmed my dog's face out from the picture I provided. Order processing and shipping were super quick too - I think it was less than 4 days from payment to delivery - which is cool given it's a custom product. HOWEVER... the major issue with this is kind of endemic to stretchy things, and it's why I hesitated to leave this review: before it's stretched, it's a beautifully composed picture. The second the sock is used as it's supposed to be - as a sock - the image stretches, revealing the "undersock" which appears as white vertical lines to "dilute" the image, making it near impossible to recognize. Until a different, perhaps darker sock color is used, or the printed areas of the sock are dyed or printed to bleed through into the stretch fabric, I can't recommend this. But the idea is so cool and catchy that if things improve, I may consider buying again.

Understandably, as they are socks, they should be expected to stretch. For customers who would like for their image maintained while worn, we recommend ordering a size up. I never received my socks and was told…
I never received my socks and was told to address the issue with UPS. Lost money and received no socks. UPS was no help either.

Got my order wrong and was told I would…
Got my order wrong and was told I would be sent the correct item. The exact same wrong item was sent a second time. Now waiting to see what happens on the third try

Dissapointed
I bought these for my husband as an addition to his birthday gift. The socks didn't fit him at all so I tried them on and they are even snug on me. The photo unfortunately stretches out once you put on the socks so you can't even make out the photo of your dog. Disappointing considering they cost me $45 Canadian

Low Quality Socks, Save Your Money
I didn't receive the correct socks (I had two images and only received one image). I did receive a refund as you have to pay an additional fee for two images but COME ON, it wasn't a hard request and the present just wasn't as good as a result. And the socks in general were of a low quality/seemed unfinished. After a few washes, they look like they will fray. Overall, I would not buy again and would not recommend.

Erin, we do apologize that your experience with PupSocks was not the best! Rest assured, that your socks are finished. Our hemming is done about a half of an inch down and the hems are visible from the inside of the sock, and this is done as a brand signature. They should not fray after washing. For best results, we suggest that you machine-wash your socks inside-out with cold water and tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Using a mild detergent and avoiding the use of fabric softener and dryer sheets will allow for long-lasting results. By washing the socks this will also restore them to their original "fluffy" form. The concept is an amazing idea
The concept is an amazing idea. However, the quality of the socks are poor and the number of dog’s face is less than what is promoted in the ads. Additionally, once you put socks on, the faces get stretched out and is no longer clear as the ridges of socks expand. Pupsocks may want to consider use better materials for socks and methods to place the faces on socks. I am certain by first wash the faces will come off or be unrecognizable. I would not recommend this product.

We are looking to upgrade the quality of our socks, however, please keep in mind that our socks are considered a novelty item. If you feel that the image is completely distorted and unrecognizable, please send an email directly to https://gopupsocks.com/contact-us/ and we will gladly send you a larger pair at no cost to you. Additionally, our socks are made using a special process called sublimation that involves a heated press to seal your image into the sock material. Once washed and worn, the socks will take their familiar shape and feel! We hope that this helps.

Poor image editing
The image (kitty's head/face) was very poorly edited. The resulting image on the socks look as if the cat had been on the losing end of a fight (missing chunks of fur and ear). If I'd known that it was going to be done so badly, I'd have spent the time doing it myself first before uploading it.
