Fort Worth O.
Very Dishonest Seller
I am very pleased to find this company on Trustpilot so that I could leave a review. On 25 August 25, I purchased 2 MagnaPins for $41.04 from seller, Dave, on Amazon which turned out to be faulty after no more than 3-4 uses in under 6 months. I reported it to him with photos (wish I could post photos here to show you). These are the most expensive pin holders available, so I expected better quality than this, and I certainly expected him to stand behind his product. Dave told me he was going out of town for a while, and promised me he would send a replacement upon his return. More than a month later, I had not heard from him, so I contacted him again. He then informed me that he changed his mind about the replacement because it had already been a few months since I purchased (it was no more than 6 months max, and I had only used the pin holder 3-4X in that time period!), and he had to take his profits into consideration. I reported it to Amazon, and Amazon refunded me for both pin holders. I left a FACTUAL review that violated no one's policies. Somehow the seller went back in and reversed ONE of the refunds, AND he somehow got my review removed. eBay is notorious for sellers getting negative reviews removed, but it never used to be so on Amazon, at least not until the last 1-2 years. I have seen this happening more and more lately on Amazon, and I find it very disturbing. The upshot is this man is very dishonest. I do not recommend anyone do business with him. I also would like to mention that I tried to find more information about this seller through records research. Guess what? He has had his property record removed from his state's property records, so you cannot see the name of the person behind this company. All I know is he signed his name "Dave," and I cannot tell you if that is really his name or not. To me, anyone who hides the name behind his company is ANOTHER, big, RED FLAG. Honest, trustworthy sellers are happy for you to know who they are. Only the dishonest ones who will cheat you try to hide their identities. There are plenty of other good sellers on Amazon. Do business with those sellers who do not lie, who stand behind their products, and who are not afraid for you to know who they are instead of hiding behind a business name like "Hattrick Good Impression." Once someone shows you who he is, believe him, the first time. Do not give him a chance to take advantage of you a second time. Caveat Emptor.
