Launched ads without our approval, then refused the refund their sales rep promised
We're a law firm and signed up for MEGA AI's monthly paid ads plan in September 2026. Before we signed, their sales rep offered us in writing a 30-day money-back guarantee, starting once onboarding was complete. That guarantee was a big part of why we went ahead. From the start, we made it clear that nothing should go live until we had reviewed and approved it in writing. MEGA launched our ads anyway. When we raised it, our account manager admitted in writing that launching before our approval "was a mistake on our end" and that they "take full accountability for it." We cancelled the next day, well within the guarantee period. MEGA then said the guarantee only applied to a different plan, even though the rep had offered it while we were discussing the monthly plan. The account manager wrote that if we could show where the guarantee was offered, they would "happily abide by it." They then refused the refund anyway. Cancelling was also difficult. Days after we cancelled, their system was still answering calls and capturing our leads. Six days after we cancelled, MEGA told us in writing that the shutdown of our Google and Meta campaigns was "not yet complete." To be fair, the individual staff were polite. But apologizing and admitting mistakes means little if the company won't stand behind its own sales promises. If you're thinking about MEGA, get every term in a signed contract, don't rely on what the sales rep tells you, and be ready for a hard time getting your money back.
